*** How to adjusting grind parameters
1. Lock the grinding chamber
You need to make sure the grinder is LOCKED first, otherwise you won’t be able to adjust the grind settings (you won’t hear the “ticks”)
2. Adjust to “origin”
Adjust the grind setting CLOCKWISE until it can’t spin anymore, that’s “ORIGIN”
3. Adjust grind settings to suit your needs
By adjusting the grind settings COUNTER-CLOCKWISE, you can set over 45 ticks, giving you precise control over the particle size you need.
**Suggestion: when it is at the “origin”, adjust it at least 4-5 ticks counterclockwise. If the particle size is set too fine, the machine may stop working after more than ten seconds of grinding.

The best little coffee grinder I’ve tested
I just want to say that the review that I’m posting says everything everything that needs to be said about this little powerful coffee grinder. I have seven coffee grinders getting returned junk. I think for $42 with the discount you can’t go wrong I may buy a second testing one more out on Thursday and we’ll know.1. It performs well and feels solid and ergonomic in the hand. Grinding is slowish but steady without too much noise. The burr mechanism itself is stainless steel as opposed to plastic with partial stainless steel, so it seems durable and long-lasting. I hope the charger lasts. So far so good. Very handy to not have to deal with another countertop appliance!2. It has 11 visible grind settings on the ticker but don’t fret – to get to the 45 grind settings advertised, you need to crank like 4 times around. Personally, I like fine grinds, so tick clockwise til to the max. for super fine grinds, and counterclockwise to the max if you prefer coarse grinds. ð3. I fill the dispenser to the top with beans, no need to measure or weigh unless you are a professional barista. If you fill the compartment, you’ll get enough grounds for a generous mug of coffee. Don’t buy this grinder if you expect to produce grounds for several people at once.4. I love that container for grounds screws onto the device which means less risk for making an accidental mess.5. I also love the twist to lock into place feature so you know when you are clear to commence grinding.6. I like the location of the power button and charging plug on the top of the device. Less interference or whatever, it just makes sense.7. A bit more expensive than other portable brands priced to get your attention, but on balance realize that this is 4 times less than the top-of-line brands that produce the same quality grinds. This is good value without the hype.Overall, thing gadget gives me great joy, thus compelling me to take the time to write this review. Hope this helps anyone who might be on the fence. Just buy it.

Totally worthless after a few uses
I purchased this grinder to use while traveling. I’ve taken it out a few times and it worked great the first three or four times I used it. I’ve now officially spent more time trying to fix it than grinding coffee. I’ve experienced many of the similar complaints as other reviews: the plastic outer sleeve is loose, the locking mechanism for the top and bottom doesn’t work right. Now it grinds for a second and then the body rotates and it shuts off. There’s nothing more frustrating than trying to make a cup of coffee in the morning and being unable to grind the beans, I don’t recommend this grinder at all.

Good Quality
Update: I’m buying a second grinder with a 25% off coupon. Such a good value! I’ve been using daily for the past month and I LOVE this grinder.*****This little grinder is good quality. Small quiet perfect for AeroPress
Update 10/28/23: plastic locking mechanism broke off and is slowly failing. Have to hold together during grinding in order to finish. Often does not grind all before stopping. Have to restart often. Decided to go with another brand that is all metal.Needed a small portable and quiet coffee grinder for my AeroPress and this fits the bill pretty nicely. It charges on a USB so you need a plug to USB just in case you didnât realize that. Will hold maybe 5 grinds if I remember correctly. The grind course or finer adjustments is basically easy. Now the lock to open the compartment to add beans is finicky and you cannot add too many beans or it will not lock. Seems that the outer casing can spin separate from the locking inner casing if you apply too much force. Finally the plastic screw cup that holds the finished grinds is a little tricky to screw back on if youâre not looking carefully. Donât forget to brush or just tap the grinder side of the appliance to remove any excess grounds or they could spill outside of your AeroPress.

Worked great for 6 months
The grinder worked great for 6 months. The metal motor which mates to the bottom half of the grinder wore out the metal flange and no longer works properly.

I recently purchased this item for my husband as part of his Birthday gift . He was so excited to have a way to have freshly ground beans for making espresso while camping. The are several different grind settings and they truly are different from the next. He loves it!

Started out well. Great, compact device with adjustable grind size. All good initiallyHowever, poor finish means when screwing together it does engage the alley socket properly as there is still some metal left in the recesses. Now the usb socket is loose and won’t chargePoor

Purchased in mid June of 2023 and it worked well to begin with. Now it wonât grind for more than a few seconds and then shuts off with a flashing red light. I would avoid this product and go with a hand or small plug in grinder instead. Very disappointed for the price and the vendor has not responded to email with respect to the one year warranty.

Great grinder, small, fairly light and has good settings. It failed after a month and doesnât charge anymore.

I was getting tired of paying about $.80 per K cup every time I had a cup of coffee. I thought that grinding my own beans would result in better flavour and less cost. I bought this grinder and found it was easy to set it up to the proper grind for me. The flavours that resulted were very good at least as good as the purchase K cups. Regarding costs, the cost was approximately 1/4 of what I had previously been paying. I enjoy my coffee so a quick calculation showed that I would save almost $1000 per year. The size of this device was perfect for me. Every grind resulted in enough coffee for two reusable K cups. The only downside to this product is that it is a bit tricky to reassemble after putting the beans in the grinder. Also the cup where the grinds go into is tricky to screw back into the device. With a little practice, though this is not an issue and it works fine for me. It is very compact and store is easily in a cupboard and therefore it doesn’t take up counter space.
