Great travel burr coffee grinder
I purchased this coffee grinder to take on a 12-day vacation. Charged it up before I left, made two cups of coffee each day without having to recharge it. I used the medium grind for my one cup pour over dripper into my 16 oz. coffee mug. The grinder is very easy to operate. The grinder comes with a small brush to clean out the grinder. I got an oversized pencil holder from LL Bean to store the grinder, mini brush and charging cord for travel. I highly recommend this grinder.

The Leburry Portable Coffee Grinder is a rechargeable, battery operated coffee grinder. The unit is very easy to use, just fill the reservoir with coffee beans, select the ground size, press the power button and let the coffee grinder to its thing.This motorized grinder is compact and light. It has a display that shows the remaining battery capacity and it recharges via a USB-C port.It has 38 levels from coarser grind good for French press coffee to fine espresso grind.The unit operates at speed fast enough to grind the coffee bean without heating the coffee ground. A fast machine could heat the coffee ground causing its quality to degrade and the flavor profile to change.The Leburry Portable Coffee Grinder requires a bit of a learning curve to get the right number to get the best grind for your type of coffee. Setting it to number 3, it delivered results similar to those I get from professional grinders for fine espresso.I liked that it did not just pulverizes the beans, which could make the end result taste bitter and kind of sour.I was not expecting much when I did not see any brand on the unit. But the Leburry Portable Coffee Grinder delivers is a good quality coffee grinder that is simple to use, inexpensive and it delivers very good consistent results.

Im enjoying it…
Initially i was a bit hesitant because of the touch button on the top, but it turns out it isn’t that big of a deal.The unit is sturdy and offers a wheel to select how coarse or fine you want the beans to be ground up. I made 7g in the highest and lowest setting as you can see in the pictures for comparison. The unit is quiet compared to my previous grinder and can grind up around 16g of beans when filled to the top. Using it is easy, and cleaning it is simple, too. It’s a nice space saving design and works as expected. I did notice upon arrival that the grinding plate was a bit lose, but I hand tightened the screw and it’s been working since. I charged it once so far and the battery seems to last long enough to make coffee for a whole gang during a weekend camping trip.I look forward taking this one on a trip for some fresh brewed coffee. Not sure about the value for the money as I’m not versed enough in this coffee cult to know if this one grinds as good or bad as others in this or a higher or lower price range. I probably wouldn’t spend that much but I enjoy having it now nonetheless…

Well made product, terrible grind consistency.
Product is built well, easy functioning, and is overall a great product. However something that affects flavor of your brew is getting the proper grind size. This grinder, although in theory is great about grinding adjustability, lacks the consistency to get a good brew each time. However this was to be expected for the price and will be used when traveling and camping.

Gets the job done
This was a little splurgy because really, I can grind my beans before a trip and take them with me. But how lovely to have fresh ground coffee anywhere and anytime! This is small and portable for sure. It also grinds only enough for one Aeropress serving at a time, but…. that’s fine, because the Aeropress only makes one cup of coffee at a time. The finest setting isn’t the finest coffee ever but definitely fine enough for my purposes. It’s very slow but you can also just set it down and let it run unlike grinders where you have to keep a lid pressed down to activate. The bottom cup isn’t a twist off, you just pull it off, which means you have to be extremely careful, because clumsiness means grounds everywhere. Occasionally I adjust the fineness by mistake because the dial turns easily and is close to the way you twist to open to put in the beans. Overall, glad this product exists for convenience, including USB charging!

Very well suited to traveling

It would not be a go-to grinder for at home, as it lacks some features that a larger, better-made grinder would have. However, for the size, itâs really great. I have not been able to travel with it for myself, but I asked my cousin, who is a coffee snob, to take it with him on his last camping trip, and hereâs what he says about it:* The 38 grind settings are kind of pointless, because the range of fine-ness is actually very low, between like a medium fine and a medium.* The size is really great for traveling* For camping itâs excellent because he doesnât think that he could find anything else in that form factor that grinds as well as this* The fact that the top just pulls on and off was a bit problematic because in order to make it a tight enough fit, you have to pull pretty hard, and you run the risk of an explosion of grounds in your face, and also putting it back often has grounds around the lid that cause a gritty experience putting it back* Based on the size, itâs really designed to be for personal use. If youâre making coffee for more than one person, youâll need to run it 2-3 times* Material quality is low for the price point of almost $70
