This is a great tea mug
I bought this mug because I drink a cup of tea after I eat lunch. The finish on the mug is flawless the outside of the bottom has a white ring that is a white glaze. Also the inside has a white glaze. The infuser does not hold all loose tea some does get into the bottom of the cup. I would buy again.

Consistent, High Quality -Meets Expectations. Comfy to Hold.
This is the second one of these we bought so there is always a clean one ready to go. Works very well, and the insert mesh filter is very fine, with consistent clean filtration. Obviously, if your tea is a powder, your results will vary. Lid fits well, and the whole unit keeps heat without burning your hand when you pick it up.The bamboo coaster thing is basically a throwaway item unless you modify it. Bamboo is soooo slippery, and it is a good half inch tall, so you need to pay attention if you use it so you don’t spill 20 oz of your precious elixir onto your desk. I have coasters that I use instead and will put this part in the next Goodwill bag.NOTE: The filter has a very sharp piece internally at the top or open end, where the handle joins the mesh portion, which goes around the entire diameter. I am sure they are all the same from this mfgr. (our other one is a different brand, and does not have this issue). Not worth sending back/exchanging, but beware if intending to gift this to elderly, children, or folks with rheumatoid arthritis.

Perfect tea mug.
All others had too narrow a base and were easy to tip over. Had to find one with a wider sturdier base. This one is perfect.
