Keeps coffee hot longer
After accidentally breaking my most recent glass French press, we decided to try a non-glass one for greater durability. This metal French press keeps coffee hotter for much longer than our previous glass one. It is quite heavy duty feeling, which makes me wonder a bit if it will break a floor tile if dropped, but it definitely seems durable. Much more aesthetically pleasing than the glass one as well. Very easy to clean.

Great Camping option and touch of style
Love love love this French Press (and matching kettle). Retired and out enjoying camping life, and this French Press (stainless steel not glass, yay) just adds a great touch to the set up.Wood handle is beautiful and pour arrow on the lid (thank you for that)Capacity is great and keeps coffee warm, strainer is solidly built and came with extra mesh filter.I’d only replace it with another Poliviar but maybe a different color.

It’s exactly what you’re looking for. No muss no fuss, great product. Will last.
Not sure why a person reviewed not to purchase this because this arrived broken…yes, things can break in transit, or at any point while being made. It happens. Considering this has a 12 month replacement policy, I don’t see how that warrents a 1 star review.The packaging is nice and minimal. It arrives in one piece fully assembled with 2 as additional screens, like pictured in the other reviews. We had a glass one that broke so we sprung for something that is more heavy duty. Im so glad we chose this one. The canister piece is one piece of metal. It is not a canister piece that has a spout attached, of that makes sense. Nor is it a cover with an additional insulated cup that is on the inside. Sorry if this is confusing. I’m trying to explain it to the best of my abilities. In a nut shell, there is no place for water to get lodged in. It keeps warm/hot for a good hour? Or, longer. It is slightly warm to the touch but you can hold it by the canister as well as the handle. The handle is attaches well and looks of good quality. I am pretty blown away at the price because it is a great value. The plunger part looks and works beautifully. It also looks nice sitting on the counter whether clean and emptied or full of grounds waiting for me to give it a wash. Sounds silly but I was getring sick of seeing my dirty French press on the counter waiting for my son to nap to be cleaned. I can’t wait to take it camping too. I won’t be worried about transporting it at all. It can stand up to travel, no problem. Over all, fantastic buy. We will be gifting this to people we know because it’s that awesome. Lovely birthday or engagement gift or just for fun.

Great little product, but ….
Pros: ease of use, sturdy and asthetically pleasing.I bought this as a quick coffee maker when traveling and it works very well.I ground the beans to a medium consistency , slowly add the boiled water (usually up to 10 – 12 oz), stir for a minute, place lid, let seep for about 4 minutes, slowly press down and whala ð ! great cup of coffee âNo coffee grounds in my cup and I believe it is because I slowly push down the press.It keeps the coffee hot for a good amount of time.Cons: the reason I gave it 4 stars , as you can see by the image, it has rust. and as I hand washed a bit more paint flaked off in that area. As with any product, sometimes there may be flaws, otherwise this small travel press is very nice and works well. I will be exchanging for a replacement.

Makes good coffee
This French press works very well! Itâs sturdy and not glass so it wonât break. It hold the heat well too. Comes with extra screen too. Itâs much better than the glass bodum I had in my opinion

Sleek and durable
I love this french press coffee maker. I have gone through a number of glass versions that have broken for various reasons. This maker is sleek (love the wood handle) and is perfectly designed so the plunger doesn’t get stuck (a cause for at least one break of the glass models). I use this at home and for camping. It is ideal for camping because of its durability. Highly recommend!

Itâs Not Easy Being Green
I purchased this French press to âupgradeâ my boyfriendâs, which was (somewhat ironically) experiencing significant paint chipping/sloughing. It was time for something new, something that matched our little houseâs style.It has been 3 months since my purchase. We use this French press every morning. It is easy to take the filtery bits apart to clean them. The filtery bits seem to do their job making sure thereâs no leakage or grounds once that plunger slides so smoothly through 1 liter of hot, blooming bean water. The capacity is 1 liter, by the way, and I donât drink coffee. I just make it in this French press, which is made out of stainless steel and apparently, Elmerâs glue mixed with a lovely green pigment.Despite following manufacturer cleaning instructions and being mindful of the wood handle(s), the entire thing is just chipping green paint everywhere. It is my favorite color and it looks excellent when it actually stays on the press! The wood is splintering at the top handle, and the side handle is starting to get a little wonky. But itâs still sturdy.If you donât mind cleaning up paint chips or picking them out of your coffee, and if watching your French press deteriorate rather quickly and dramatically with regular use sounds appealing, this is an otherwise durable and reliable press. Go for it!If the chipping paint made it look rustic or antique-y or added any aesthetically pleasing elements it would be fine – but it just looks like Iâve been drying it off with sandpaper after cleaning and then drop-kicking it back into the cabinet.I think Iâll remove *all* of the paint on Dec 24 and gift it to my boyfriend again for Christmas.

First off, the colour is great.Manufacturing- seems well made.Comes with extra fine mesh screens for the press.Keeps coffee hot.Does not shatter when you drop it in the sink.
