    Great for iced tea
We make iced tea on a smaller scale, so usually no more than a quart at a time, and usually as a concentrate that we have to add water to later on. We use this to brew the tea, cool, and add ice. We do not store the tea in this since it’s not air tight. The size is very good. I wouldn’t use it for a couple cups of tea due to the tea filter being so high up, but this is great for a good amount. It’s sturdy, handle is a good size and overall it’s a nice thick pot. It doesn’t feel fragile like some tea pots. The color is nice and even.

Please add a lid gasket! Would be perfect otherwise.
TL;DR – I love the size, weight, and design of this pitcher. The biggest issue is the lack of a gasket on the lid to keep it in place.DESIGN PROS – Beautiful, simple design that would go with most earthy decor or smallwares. The strainer insert is perfect for loose leaf tea or tea bags, with small enough mesh to keep out all but the smallest particles. I also like that it is gold toned, which should help disguise some staining from dark teas. The handle is a good size, easy to pour, and the spout allows a good amount with a smooth pour and no spilling.DESIGN CONS – The ONLY reason that this isn’t 5 stars is because the lid and inner rim rub together, creating a really unpleasant sound. This also made me nervous about the lid staying in place when pouring. I almost returned it because that major flaw in my book. BUT I decided to buy a small tube of food-grade silicone and applied that (not my best work) to the outermost rim of the lid so that it is further leakproof and stable. IF YOU DO THIS FOLLOW THE CURING INSTRUCTIONS. I did not use the lid for 7 days so that there wouldn’t be any leaching and so there wouldn’t be any moisture trapped.I think, for the price, there’s no reason this shouldn’t at least include a silicone or rubber gasket on part of the lid. I’m handy, but I could see why someone might return this if they don’t want to put extra work into it. With the silicone cured and in place, it’s now perfect for what I need.

    Expected better quality
This is actually a pretty nice teapot. It is a good size, it has a good size handle. The bad part about this pot is the lid, as has been mentioned. The lid scoots around on top of the pot, it needs a rubber seal, and in my case, the little lip on the lid that is supposed to keep it on the pot broke off with the first use. The bad part is that the lid gets too hot to put your fingers on it. I would recommend it, if they would put a seal on the lid.

    Sleek and functional
This teapot has a very sturdy feel and is perfect for brewing several cups of loose leaf tea. The gold filter is a nice touch and the lid also has a built in piece that allows it to stay more secure while you pour

Cracked and chipped both times on delivery!
Teapot is nice and a great size, but two teapots in a row were delivered cracked and damaged! Better packaging, please. So ridiculous that something so fragile wasn’t better shipped.

    Microwaveable tea pot!
This is one of the few modern looking tea pots I could find that could go into the microwave. I love the large size (3-4 cups of tea) and the fine metal strainer is easy to clean. The container its self feels a little fragile, my lid developed a crack, but hasn’t broken apart yet. I use this daily and seem to go through about one tea pot a year due to heavy use and clumsiness. Rated 4 star only because I wish it felt like it would last me a long time.

Beautiful mod – great feel on the hands
Beautiful. Love the white matte finish- if there was a cream version, I’d be all over it. The lip-lid is not an issue for me . I thought it was made loose – no . There’s a lip that goes into the infuser which then the lid goes through that hole . It works for me .
