Okay let’s talk about it
After reading the reviews, I decided to make the leap. I told myself, everyone says it breaks, so don’t expect it to last very long, and decide when it breaks if it was worth it. I was going to be very, very careful with it, and hopefully I wouldn’t clumsily smash it.I first got it on 9.Jan, and I’m writing this on the day of the bottles demise, the 15th.I was very careful with it, and didn’t drop it at all, but today a weird pucker mark and a crack appeared in the bottle, and I decided not to wait until it shatters before calling the time of its demise.Unfortunately, even though it’s only 23 bucks, the amount I babied this bottle to make it last as long as possible, and it didn’t even last a week, I’m sorry, it’s really not worth it. the iridescent was GORGEOUS and the infuser is great, but I don’t want to have to turn around and buy a new one every week.

this thing is so so so pretty!! I just love it! I read reviews about breakage so I’m super careful with it. I have no idea if it’s bpa free and the inside of the lid is plastic so that’s my only concern. also the lid is bamboo but it’s just a very thin veneer so I try not to get it wet if I don’t have to and dry it right away or I suspect it would start to peel very easily. it’s not crazy insulated and the top of the glass starts to get warm as heat transfers through but def better than a mug or normal cup. I’ve had it over a year with moderate use and the pattern is still all on there with only the tiniest amount of wear showing up. I will for sure buy again if/when disaster strikes and it breaks. hope they still have this pattern or it will take my heart along with it when it does! haha

Very pretty and sturdy bottle.
The packaging is very pretty. I ordered two bottles and both survived the shipment. Bottle is very pretty with bright painted flowers. It is double walled, so is on a heavy side, and sturdy. It comes with a steeping basket that opens up for the tea leaves, and has a tiny handle for removal. The cap is plastic lined outside with the bamboo overlay. So hopefully that will prevent bamboo from cracking when over tightening, like I saw in reviews for other products.

Beautiful! But only for cold/warm brew and infusing!
Amazon reviews always blow my mind on how much of a lack of common sense there is. Yes, it is glass and the description and packaging says itâs suitable for hot tea. ITS GLASS OF COURSE ITS GOING TO BE HOT TO TOUCH. Even the box says to be careful. This glass is more suited for cold brewing and infusing fruit.Now the rant is over, the glass is beautiful. Well actually another thing to rant about…ITS GLASS OF COURSE ITS FRAGILE. Why would you use a glass jar for everyday travel??? This isnât stainless steel. Seriously, stop leaving such dumb negative reviews because you all lack common sense. Yeesh.The glass has a beautiful iridescent sheen and a veneer bamboo wood lid. I would hand wash this only since some people have reported the veneer bubbling and peeling off. The strainer basket could be a little deeper but itâs not a huge deal. Itâs nice that it comes with its own twist top strainer handle. I plan on using this strictly for cold brews, fruit water, or 1-2hr warm brewing. If you want to use this for hot brewing, then buy a silicone handle.
