    Works well.
It makes coffee from beans so it’s always fresh. It has a built-in water filter. So many features that i will not use. It’s worth it to spoil yourself.

Received Damaged and not in original Packaging– Mediocre Coffee
The Philips 2200 coffee machine I received had obviously been unpacked and poorly repacked in the original packaging. Perhaps it had already been returned by another customer prior to me receiving it.Not only was it not in new packaging, it was also damaged. The back panel was pulled away and showing the inside of the machine.I have ordered another Phillips 2200 and I hope it comes in its original new packaging. I want to be able to give a good review of it in the future.Edit: I very quickly received a new machine from Amazon. I have now used it for a few weeks and I am sad to say it is not great coffee. It is just okay coffee. For an okay cup of coffee I program my Philips 2200 for the most amount of beans with the least amount of water. I must do this twice to fill my 14 ounce Ember cup. The result is standard American restaurant coffee. It is certainly not close to the robust coffee I can get at my local coffee shop (as some have claimed in these reviews).Edit 2: Today is 6/2/2024. I have had my Philips 2200 for approximately 8 months. Yesterday, the grinder stopped working. I can hear it turning, but it is not grinding the coffee beans. I do not recommend this machine. I have changed my rating from 2 stars to 1 star.

    It’s perfect for me
I was hesitated to buy this but the price was right and so far has not let me down. Once you get your initial set up, it’s just a matter of selecting the amount of shots you want and press go, once done you put your milk in the steamer and press go, once done mix you shots and milk and you got your drink. No messing with the amount of grounds and having to taper press the grinds it’s all done for you just empty and go. This little machine does it perfectly!!!

This is not a pure expresso machine that does it all.
Yes, I am a coffee snob with experience in making coffee and espresso.Over the years, I’ve owned many coffee machines, including espresso machines, percolators, drip machines, and French presses. This particular machine claims to do it all, and while it does, it does so poorly. The manufacturers combined many functions to create an all-in-one machine, but most of these functions work minimally at best.I was super excited when a co-worker told me about fully automatic espresso machines that produce amazing cups of coffee. Since I love espressos and wanted to eliminate my Keurig at work, this sounded like a perfect solution. I’ll be able to enjoy expresso and/or coffee with a simple touch of the button. The Keurig was making okay coffee, but I usually preferred my percolator for that perfect cup. Learning about this all-in-one option got me quite thrilled. However, the espresso feature is the best part of this machine, which isn’t saying much. It still makes very poor coffee. The break-in period can be long and challenging for many users. The manual explicitly states not to adjust the grinder settings for at least 100 cups or one month. In my opinion, that’s far too long to wait for a decent cup of coffee.Additionally, when switching from espresso to regular coffee, there should be different grind settings available, which this machine lacks. You can only adjust the grinder with two knob turns after each use. Therefore, if you want to change the grind from coarse to fine, you have to make several cups to see the difference.I’ve had super high hopes, but I’d have to say I’m returning this machine. After days and hours of research, I think I’ve decided to purchase the Ninja all-in-one expresso maker. It allows you to change your grind from expresso to coffee with the push of a button, moving the grinder to the appropriate number. Unlike the Breville machine, which is timed, it uses a geometric scale to measure your grinds. A number of coffee experts on YouTube compared the 2 machines, and it appears Ninja was beating it in every way, including the amazing 500-dollar price mark. The 1500-dollar Breville machine went toe to toe with the Ninja in most reviews.

    So far, so good
I ordered this about three months ago and have been using it daily and am very happy with it. I’m getting great tasting coffee and espressos that I’d otherwise be paying for at a coffee shop. One small complaint is that the buttons aren’t highly responsive. I sometimes have to push “power” or “go” a few times to get it to register.I also kind of wish I’d chosen a machine that looks prettier on the countertop.

Love this Super Automatic, Excellent Espresso
I was using a Nespresso before this and this thing makes Espresso that is infinitely better with the Lavazza beans that I use. It’s very easy to maintain – I clean the puck catch system weekly, and the brew group and internals every month or two. Despite the price, I’ll be breaking even very fast compared to having to buy Nespresso pods. Got this machine after trying it at a friend’s place. Felt like a no brainer. I set the grind to like 8/10 fine and I’m getting super creamy shots every time. I did run a whole contained of trash beans through it first. I think that’s essential to break it in. Though I rarely use it, the steam wand is pretty awesome too. I personally wouldn’t feel the need to upgrade to a higher end unit, but if money is no object and you want better automation and beverage variety, go for it.

I use this in the office, with distilled water only. Works like a charm and fully automatic. Limited capacity water/grounds, but good enough for a small group/family. No cleaning needs/issues so far. I had it a good long time now and it makes a couple cups almost every day without issues. The coffee beats any brewed stuff hands down!

I absolutely love Philips coffee machines! I’ve already owned two – I had to sell one due to moving, but I would never have parted with it otherwise. The machine requires a bit of patience at the beginning, especially when adjusting the grind settings for the coffee beans, as this greatly affects the flavor. It’s not difficult to do, but you’ll need to sacrifice a few beans and some water in the process ;). However, it’s totally worth it when you get to enjoy a perfect espresso or milk-based coffee afterwards. The milk frother solution is also fantastic, making it easy to create creamy, frothy milk for cappuccinos or lattes. My only minor gripe is that when using the Aqua Clean, you have to refill the water tank frequently. It doesn’t hold enough water to make two large cups of coffee at once.Despite that, I highly recommend this machine to anyone who loves a good cup of coffee!

Tiene mucho que ver el café que usas, las extracciones son buenas pero si usas un cafe de calidad te va a encantar el aroma, la consistencia y lo práctico que es tener un café como si de una cafetera profesional fuera. Fácil de limpiar y utilizar.
