These are simple stated, GREAT! High quality. Highly recommended ð
The size is perfect. They are glass, which means the salt crystals wonât scratch the container like my old plastic ones. The grind is adjustable. Juts a nice set!

Would have preferred the “upside down” grinding design, but this is fine.
EDIT: Updated from 3 to 4 stars for company’s feedback on how to use the measuring feature. Please check comments to see explanation. It still isnt 5 stars because these instructions should be included in the packaging. Nevertheless, I know how to use the measuring feature now, and it is a high quality grinder. Glass makes it feel way more premiumI have a pepper grinder that has the open bottom design so you can just start churning and grinding with zero “prep”. I tried to buy the exact same one again but its no longer being sold on amazon unfortunately. It had adjustable grinding sizes and is a very nice grinder! So I settled on this one for grinding up coarse kosher salt.Basically all of this is a fine product. But it has some weird things and one design feature I dont prefer. I dont like having to turn the whole thing upside to use it, but more specifically, having to take off and put on a lid every time you use it. The removable lid is just asking to get lost or something, and its an annoying step when youre trying to quickly grind some spices over something while youre cooking. With my pepper grinder, its just a grab and go. But with this, you gotta free up your hands and turn it over, and if youre dealing with time sensitive stuff on a hot stove, any experienced chef can tell you that those seconds matter.Second, on the box, it says this has adjustable levels of delivery, as well as a way to make the grinding either more coarse or more fine. However, the arrows to determine which way is which are going the SAME DIRECTION. Its quite ridiculous. I only keep it on one “setting” even though there is no indication of how coarse or fine the grind is. Additionally, I have yet to figure out how to use the measuring feature that it apparently has, as there are no instructions on how to do so.OVERALL: This thing does its job. It grinds the salt/pepper that I need it to. But having a lid, unknown grinding levels, and a mystery measuring feature knocks off 2 stars. Sure I couldve paid more for a better one, but I got my original grinder for less than this, and its just not sold anymore. The metal and glass used is high quality and I like that, and people might say “just keep the lid off!” but then the grinder is exposed at all times, giving opportunities for it to break or your spices to collect moisture. Plus itll look ugly at the dinner table. 3/5 stars.

Great Grinder to add to your everyday use
I love the flavor of freshly ground salt and pepper. There are so many grinders out there, but I love the size of these – perfect for that fresh grind while cooking and at the table. I like the simplistic look and the ability to see how much is left. The grinder is made of ceramic, not metal so there is no rust. The grinder adjustment is so easy to adjust and very predictable. Thanks for such a bargain and useful product!

A Cleaner, More Efficient Pepper Grinder
For about 10 years or so, I had been using a traditional cylindrical, wooden pepper grinder with metal rod , grinder gear, and adjustment nut at the top. We’ve all seen them. You just crank the top lid round-and-round or twist back-and-forth. It was a good grinder that did it’s job over the years but the gear eventually wore out and the piece eventually just kind of fell apart.Needing a new pepper grinder I settled on this one as it appeared sturdy. Once I got it out of the box, it took me a few minutes to figure out how to adjust the grind even after reading the instruction but got it right soon enough. My first thought was that the flow of pepper you get for one turn of the wrist was greater than that of my previous grinder. I also felt that I got a more consistent grind. When I adjusted for a fine grind, I got a fine grind. No occasional larger grinds falling through. The capacity is pretty nice. I can go through some pepper corns as much as I cook but I am at more than half capacity still 2 weeks after beginning to use it. The clear container is kind of nice too since it allows you to see precisely how much peppercorns are remaining. With my previous grinder, the pepper flow was always at the bottom. This could be messy because of gravity and would get all over my counter or table so I had to place it on a plate. With this grinder the pepper actually exits from the top and there is a lid making this a much cleaner and less wasteful grinder. This lid could be left on while you grind if you need to measure out a larger amount for something like a rub or marinade. Once done grinding just remove the lid and scoop out the amount you need with a measuring spoon. After using this a few weeks, I have found for myself that the pepper flows better by turning the top all the way around as opposed to twisting back and forth. There is also a flow indicator marked on the container corresponding to an arrow on the spinning grinder top. This allows you to measure the amount of pepper being ground per turn of the grinder top.So this grinder is efficient and clean. It turns easily and can even measure the amount of pepper being used. The see-through container allows you to see how much peppercorns are still within instead of going by feel or removing a lid to take a peek inside. The lid allows you to grind out and measure larger amounts of pepper more easily. This grinder work so well for this home chef that I’m likely to buy a second to grind salt as well.

don’t put salt in it
After we went through all the salt and I went to clean it and adjust the coarseness: the screw was caked-in and applying a little force snapped it off (unsurprisingly as the shaft is barely over a millimeter in diameter). It’s fine for what it is, but the salt-filled one is a single-use item.Figuring out why a brass nut on a steel stud + salt + plus any kind of humidity is a bad combo is left as an exercise to the reader.

Received this product intact and as shown in the pics. It has a glass bottom where you can see the level of the spices. It has a nice lid that has the plastic blades. I was able to adjust the coarseness level by adjusting a small wheel in the blades. I tried to grind pink salt granules and it worked well

My existing salt and pepper grinders both sadly died of old age….so, time for a search. These grinders seem to be the ideal size, have a good mechanism and feel nice to use…definitely good value and the seem very well made. I’ve sent off for another set to extend the range and create maximum pose value….so that has to be a vote of confidence, doesn’t it!!

I thought it would last longer as there are good reviews but it lasted only 3 months that too for home use.till it lasted it worked fine. Now it keeps rotating and gringing is not happening. Inner plastic grinder is broken from joint so can’t even stick using feviquick.
