Best coffee IMO
I love Peet’s coffee and order it for my elderly mom, who also loves a good quality, flavorful, reliable coffee. I buy it already ground for her. I also love the flavor but use primarily Nespresso capsules.

A nice, dark, flavorful coffee
Love Peet’s for their dedication to the coffee farming communities and won’t drink anything but organic coffee because it’s can be so filled with remaining pesticides so I’m happy they offer an organic option. As far as this particular French Roast, it’s very smooth and actually a bit fuller bodied than some French Roasts. It’s a bit oily but that’s a positive for me because I like the heaviness when I take a sip. We brew it in a single serve ceramic immersion brewer and I’ve noticed that if I steep it too long it can get a little bitter, but that’s easily avoidable. When brewed correctly it’s dark and chocolatey with a very subtle hint of caramel. When comparing it to other organic French Roasts I’ve noticed that it’s about a medium as far as how much coffee I need to make a satisfactorily strong cup. I have to use about 4 tablespoons or 1/4 cup of this coffee to get a nice cup as strong as I like it which is less than some brands but still quite a bit more than a few others so it tends to be a little more expensive monthly than some. This is my pretty standard go-to coffee unless I find something I like more from a brand I trust as much as Peet’s.

Absolutely delicious
I love this coffee and have been drinking it exclusively for many months. I brew it in a moka pot which allows me to get the maximum depth and flavor of the extraordinary French roast. I usually add milk to a very strong brew, but my wife likes it better with a little water added to make it lighter. It can be a little bitter if it is not brewed just right. It took me a little while before I found the perfect proportions of coffee to water together with the best brewing rate (how high a flame I use under the pot) but, once I got it right, it is truly amazing. It leaves me with a fantastic taste in my mouth that lasts for quite a while after finishing a mug.My wife and I have tried many roasts and even many brands of French roast, but this is the best.

What coffee should be
When the order arrived I noticed that it was close to expiration date. I wanted to try Peetâs though because they are known for freshness.They immediately replaced my order. (Thank you!)Was not disappointed. It was our first time to try this coffee. Wil order again the next time weâre in the US.

broke open inside the packaging.
I love this coffee. Best out there. But the delivery of it was sub-par! When I first grabbed the packaging I knew something was wrong because I could smell coffee. Open up packaging and sure enough. Coffee grounds everywhere and on the other items I ordered I. The same packaging. Had to throw it out :/
