definitely extra long, a nice replacement straw for oversized mugs
My company I work for gave me a huge Stanley mug knock off, which is great, but I hated the straw. It’s a weird plastic that has no bend or give to it . These were a great replacement for that. They look nice and even though they are not “bendy” straws, they do have a good built in bend at the top and are flexible enough to be comfortable when taking a sip.

Straws
These straws are great. Extra long, which is what I wanted. But cleaning has to be done a special way. There is an extra long brush that comes with it. I spray Dawn inside and out. I wash the outside really well. Then I use the brush at least 5 or 6 times going up and down the entire length of the straw, rinse well inside and out. . I place them on a paper towel, lengthwise. Let them air dry, completely. If you donât, they will develop mold on the inside. They are well worth the effort.

You can cut to size
I really like the fact that they give markings on there where you can cut them to size they are nice and long which is what I needed because I have a 40 ounce jug but I do like having the option of cutting them easily. These are firm yet flexible they’re the perfect combination. I’ve had other silicone straws that were very squishy,the firmness of the silicone is much more pleasing and they’re very easy to wash.

Long Straws
These are not narrow straws so if you’re looking for thin straws, you will be disappointed. They are just what I was looking for. The colors are great and they are good quality. The bottom of the straw is clearly marked if you need to cut them to a different. I recommend these straws.

As Expected
I like that these straws don’t have a taste or smell; I’ve had some experiences with silicone straws that taste like coffee. Don’t get me wrong, I like coffee, but not when I’m not expecting to taste it. They have angled lines to cut along to make the straw a desired length. The only very minor downside is that there are raised seams on both sides of the straw from the casting mold which is annoying to feel. So I used a very sharp knife to trim it down (on just the bent part of the straw that goes in my mouth) and it’s now more comfortable. The cleaning brushes are great! They are flexible and spring-like which I’ve never seen before, and the brush head is the right diameter that I feel it sufficiently cleans the inside of the straw. These are pricier than others, but I think a worthwhile spend.

There are very few bent straws of this length and material on Amazon.. Most are either not long enough for bigger insulated mugs or tall glasses, or not made of silicone.. I’d have liked to see them be a bit thicker, but they are completely adequate as is.
