Cool little thing, takes a while, but does the job!
I really like this hand crank coffee grinder, it has a dial to adjust how coarse you want your grounds to be, and is relatively simple to assemble, use, and clean. It does take a long time to grind the coffee, but that’s expected as it only can go as fast as your arms can! Lol

Gets the job done
Gets the job done, as expected the material quality isnât amazing, but for $10 itâs exactly what youâd think it would be. It takes a minute or 5 to grind to espresso size, but it is capable of getting your grounds small enough. If you were in a rush or making a cup before work set aside an extra 5 minutes. Iâd probably just dish out the extra $40-50 for a cheap electric burr grinder. But if youâre on a budget this gets the job done.

Gets the job done at an exceptional price.
I enjoy making coffee in my sailboat and try to keep the use of power down. I bought the PARACITY Manual Coffee Bean Grinder because whole beans keep better than ground coffee, this grinder uses no power, and the price was great. I was apprehensive because of the price but the grinder does everything I would want from a grinder. The texture is easily adjustable, it has plenty of capacity to make enough grounds for my normal 30 oz tumbler of coffee, and it grinds easily. I cannot speak to reliability as I’ve only had the grinder for a few days but I am very happy with this purchase so far. The product could be improved with some 1/4 or 1/8 turn threads to hold the bottom grounds container and the lid on and maybe the same for the handle but I have had no trouble with any of it staying together in use as is.

Out of box issue
I saw some of the reviews saying it wouldnât work right and decided to give it a chance anyway. The grinder will hit the wall spinning the handle, thereâs no way this thing is going to give an even grind. I suspect that in its present state it would actually break itself if I tried to use it. Iâll come back to this review after I try the washer and nut solution.Update 1: thereâs nothing a washer or nut can do to make the burr line up. Iâve set it so that itâs as tight as it will go without hitting itself. If it makes good coffee I might add another star, but you know even at this cheap price I expect something to at least kind of work without damaging itself when it arrives. Is that harsh? I donât know. Do you like it when something arrives and does not work as advertised? If you rely just on star ratings and donât read reviews you wonât have a good idea of what to expect if you buy it.Edit 08/03/2023It can do a medium to course grind and the coffee tastes good. That said, it could be a better grinder. If I try to do anything finer than medium, it would damage itself. As a starter grinder for french press or drip, works great. Cannot do espresso.

broke immediately
This grinder broke immediately. I had it for one week, and it broke while I was camping. I fixed one problem with a metal nut. Then something else broke beyond repair, though I tried to repair with super glue. Would love to contact Paricity customer service about a refund or replacement, but I can’t find a way to contact this company.

Easy to use.
This grinder is easy to use and clean. It breaks down to make it simple to store in my cabinet, drawer, or backpack.

Cons outweigh Pros
For a cheap pretty easy to use product, not much should be expected. But with no definite way of knowing your grind size with the off center blades and no numerical labels for what grind youâre using, it ends up being a frustrating experience. The grinder ships with its blades off center and after an attempt to realign it fixes nothing and just reverts back to its original, off center, position. That along side with taking guesses at what size is correct for grind, makes for inconsistent coffee. I was using mine to grind beans for espresso, but with no way of being able to tell what exact size Iâm grinding, along with the blades being off center, no matter what my grounds were inconsistent and a mystery if I should go smaller for a setting or not. I would not recommend this for anyone unless you need something quick, or consistency is not a factor youâre looking into.

Great portable grinder for travel.
I will carry this in our travel trailer. It is important to have a quiet coffee grinder as there is no door, only a curtain between the kitchen area and the sleeping area. I can grind fresh coffee without disturbing my wife. Now I can carry bean coffee and grind it fresh.I tested it by doing a fine grind. The grounds were consistent in size and truly fine and not the mixed sizes I would get with a flat burr electric grinder. I think it will hold up if I take care to pad it well when traveling. The only thing missing is a carry pouch. That would have been nice to have included. It isn’t enough to take away a star though.

There are many, many identical manual grinders here – if the picture looks the same as this one then it will be the same grinder, despite the range of ratings and reviews, and the occasional logo on the side. Pick the cheapest and enjoy. I have two and have used them for 3-4 years now without a problem. Yes, it takes a while to grind 18g (typical Aeropress dose) or 30g (recommended dose) of your favourite beans. Especially with a finer grind. But it does work, it won’t wake the neighbourhood, and it fits in your Aeropress for travel. Some report that the burrs can break, though that hasn’t happened with mine. Use fresh beans, best within 1-2 months of roasting, and you should be good. Use cheap or old beans, especially with lighter roasts (e.g. Barzula Gold tastes great, but checks all the wrong boxes), and they can cause problems with any grinder. Sure, you need to adjust the dial more than some, it tends to slip towards a coarse grind. Use a thick rubber band – the ones from broccoli work well – to keep the handle and body together. Not much more to say. Hope this helps!

Item is used with coffee inside it – moreover there is water condensation & coffee dripping in! Extremely disgusting & disappointing

Overall build quality is good but not the best! The mechanism is a little flimsy. Gives out good grind but I am not sure if it can be used to grind coffee for espresso machines as even on the finest grinder setting, it still would give out a coarse grind. I pair it with a moka pot and it works just fine.
