Good for the price
It works really well but I do wish that it would push down farther. I use it for infusing herbs but when I make smaller batches it doesn’t go down far enough to squeeze the oil out of the herbs. Very easy to clean and I love the simple design

This is AWESOME for brewing loose leaf tea!
I can mix teabags and loose leaf tea with it, too- just rip open the bags and dump them in. Decant it into a teapot after you finish steeping, and put the teapot on a warmer- then enjoy!Itâs really easy to clean, just tap it out and give it a quick rinse. The plunger cleans up pretty easily once it dries a bit.One thing that I donât like is that it doesnât pour smoothly, as it âglugsâ- however, this is a very easy fix! I just drilled a small hole in the plastic top, opposite the spout, so that air can get in. Itâs made a huge difference!!Update October 2024: it gets nearly daily use, and has performed flawlessly (drilling that tiny air hole in the lid really helped). It is sturdy and easy to clean. I am very glad that I bought it.

Still have this two + years later
One of those things that you buy and forget you have then start using everyday until you forget about it again. Nothing slips through the filter. I do espresso, loose leaf tea, strain broth etc. Then in the dishwasher it goes. love this thing

Cracks very easily
I want to love this product, the 16oz size is perfect for my large mug. However, they crack pretty easily. I have purchased two now. My first one lasted about a year and I was hesitant to get the same one but after debate I decided to get another. The second one lasted a week with hairline cracks becoming visible around the top and middle, just like the first time, making me wonder if the glass being used is tempered enough to handle boiling water. Anyway, it cleans well and is a great design unfortunately they do not seem to last.

Breaks easily
Iâm Giving this 4 stars because the over all function was very easy and great. It wasnât too heavy. It was very easy to clean. The filter fit perfect. At the time felt it was a great value for my money. But my only complaint was house thin the glass is. Put it in the sink to wash it and my spoon barely touched the glass and it shattered.

I bought this French press for a gift. It appears to be as expected but it has no instructions with it. Box was a bit damaged. The item is fine.

Not designed for cleaning
These were shipped with plungers that are not meant to be dis-assembled or cleaned. The threads are there on the stem, but the plastic is only snap-on, not threaded. You can’t get all the debris out of the filter, no matter what you do or whether it was tea or coffee in the filter. You cannot even separate the stainless filter screening from the plastic part, so you cannot completely clean this attempt at a French press.If you need the glass carafe, so be it, it seems okay. Otherwise, stay away from this product and the manufacturer.EDIT: Upon magnified inspection, there were indeed threads inside that one plastic part that seem to have simply cross-threaded and sheared down to the surface. It was meant to be dis-and-re-assembled, but the loss of threads have sunk that idea. Metal against plastic often works out like that. I can fix it, though, with a stainless nipple (for the plunger end) and a stainless keyed machine screw (filter side).

Tut, was sie soll. Der Kaffee wird perfekt. Lässt sich gut reinigen – per Hand oder Spülmaschine.Das Sieb lässt praktische keinen Kaffeesatz durchIch brauche sie im Wesentlichen für Gäste, die Filterkaffee bevorzugen, als Ergänzung zu meiner Siebträgermaschine.Allerdings ist sie wirklich klein. Ich habe mich da zugegebenermaÃen verschätzt. Reicht für 2 normale Tassen, bei Kaffeepötten nur für 1,5. Daher werde ich mir beizeiten noch eine gröÃere bestellen.

This is the first time of buying an unbranded coffee press. My previous purchase was a lot more expensive but only lasted a year of use. This is much more robust and works very well. It’s easy to clean and the strainer inside is more durable. This is a an excellent Coffee pot and will give you a full, single, mugs worth of perfect Coffee.
