Works well, BUT
This coffee filter is very convenient to use and works well. Filtration rate is acceptable with fine grind. No unnatural taste is detected in the brew. I like it so much that I have ordered two extra batches.The only concern I have is with the filter materials. It is possible that they might contain hormone-disrupting substances and/or micro plastics. Well, at my age (advanced), a little carcinogen should not matter much. Nevertheless, can the manufacturer supply the results of an independent laboratory test? If the trace chemicals are found to be within the legal tolerance, I would be happy to recommend the filter to my younger followers.

Great idea! But only for small cup of coffee
This is a great idea for traveling or if you just want a small cup of coffee. I’m use to a larger cup of coffee in the morning and tried a few times to make a larger cup but only ended up with a cup full of grounds … but that was my fault. These work great for an 8 oz cup of coffee.

Very cool concept, does what its supposed to.
Bought these for camping, instead of the press id been using. Much easier and lighter to pack. I was impressed how well the die cut side holders folded out and fit over a 3.5in dia. coffe mug. (Photos)

These filters are the BEST if you like a strong cup of coffee.
The downside of these filters is the consuming of multiple bags particularly if you compost. Not sure that these filters will break down but time will tell re: that issue.

Not biodegradable. Side seam splits open easily.
1. Not recommended for backpacking or even home use. Because the bag has some plastic material it seems to be not biodegradable so after use need to throw out both the grounds and the bag in normal garbage, not in compost as I do with paper filters.2. Breaks easily: I’ve had these break just trying to open them, I’ve had the side seems break open after they are on the cup just by slight touch. This item is kind of useless.
