Easy to write on
I roast my own coffee for myself and friends, this is easy to write on to remember what’s in it. It’s erasable for use with something else.I also sometimes tape the roast profile to the bag. I sometimes reuse them which is easier with these top loaders vs the side loaders so prevalent now.

Bags are about 1 size larger than volume description
The dimensions of these match what is stated BUT the volume is misleading, in my opinion.The description is for “12 oz” coffee bags but they easily hold 18-20 ounces. 12 ounces of coffee beans in the size “12 oz” bag feels half- full, and that is not good for customer perception. It seems like you cheated them.I returned the “12 oz” bag and got the “8 oz” bag and it holds 12 ounces of coffee beans perfectly. One caveat is if you’re putting 12 ounces of very dark-roasted beans in it might be snug in the “8 oz” bags, because dark roast expands the beans a lot.
