Pretty and works well
I havenât had a French press for a long time but my Cuisinart coffee maker got green mold in the area that holds the water. I didnât appreciate that and the fact that I really had to watch it. So I decided to go back to a simple French press and I am very happy. I normally just make one cup for myself but I can make multiple cups if I need to. It is attractive and I am enjoying my coffee in the mornings. I have had no trouble with scratches or anything like that. It is hand washed and just sits on my counter until it is washed, so I have had no issues with the plating being scratched. I am happy.

Small – yet fills my cup
I bought this to leave at my daughter small apartment (she doesnât drink coffee). It is very cute, and has worked great so far. It fills my giant coffee cup with a tiny bit left over. Super easy to use.

I’m here reviewing this now because I’m purchasing a replacement for this press that I just bought. The size is perfect, the design is gorgeous, and the press parts fit snugly – no loose grounds whatsoever. I managed to break the damn thing the first time I washed it though. And I thought I was being so careful too, but it barely slipped, didn’t even fall, but slipped enough to bump the edge of the stainless steel sink, which much have been just right because it fairly well exploded. The glass carafe, not the sink. The sink is fine, and so am I, but I almost cried because I already loved this little press so much. And at ~$20 I figured it would just be easier all around for everybody if I just got another one instead of trying to negotiate a replacement of just the carafe. Although if you want to kick me some free replacement filters, I won’t fight you on that lol

Beautiful & Makes Fabulous Coffee
I absolutely love exploring coffee any way you fix and am a former barista. I own a drip brew, espresso maker and a Chemex pour over coffee pot, but this little French press is my very favorite brew method so far at home! It is beautiful and works well. I would recommend hand washing and treating it carefully. Just as I would recommend treating a pour over coffee pot carefully. Definitely worth the money! Their electric coffee grinder is also a great buy as well IMHOP.

French press coffee feels so luxurious, but it’s actually cheaper than k-cups!
So pretty on my table, and it keeps the coffee warm for the second cup (I only get the 2 mugs of coffee from one press).

Pretty, little press
I purchased this 20 ounce press because it is the perfect size for one person as I generally only drink one cup a day and put the remainder in the frig to ice. The press itself is very pretty and well priced, although the copper colored material feels a bit plastic vs metal on the top of the press. The glass carafe seems sturdy and the other pieces are ok for the price. Not sure how long it might hold up, but as I probably won’t use it daily it’s fine for me as I also make cold brew that lasts several days. My primary complaint with this product is that the cap at the top which you use to screw the screen and other pieces off to wash or replace doesn’t really work. You can tighten it to put the workings back on, but to unscrew to take off you have to also have a hold on the rod between the cap and the workings. Otherwise the cap will come off by itself and you’ll have to screw it back on. Not a major problem, but something to consider when purchasing. If I hadn’t already used the product twice and liked the style of it so much I might have returned. But it’s good enough for my needs.

Glad I decided to buy it. Itâs a little darker copper color than photos show. The filter is very thin and didnât think Iâd like it but it works great and left way less grounds compared to other brands Iâve had. I agree with another reviewer about the lid likely being plastic but should be fine with hand washing and for the price itâs definitely worth it. Also the ergonomics are comfortable. Really love this little French press!I love it so much I bought a 34oz as well.
