Perfect for loose tea!
I use this daily for loose tea and occasionally if I want one cup of coffee but donât want to brew a whole pot. Works great, very affordable, solid construction, easy to clean, 20oz size is perfect for one large cup or two average size cups and best of all the taste of the tea or coffee is so much better using this press! I only hand wash and air dry so it should last many years just like my last one. I highly recommend!

Love this little pot!
Itâs a little smaller than I thought it was going to be but Iâm not a huge coffee drinker so thatâs not a big issue. The small holds 12 ounces.To use it is really straightforward. The directions are on the side of the box. You just have to add some hot water about halfway to get the glass tempered for the hot water youâre going to add to make the coffee. The directions say to add the coffee first, and then pour the hot brewing water over the grounds, but I goofed and added the grounds to the top of the water, but it still did an excellent job in brewing the coffee after I stirred, the grounds. I used two heaping tablespoons of Chock Full oâNuts coffee, capped it, and let it steep for four minutes (per the directions). The coffee came out perfectly. If youâre not someone who drinks a whole lot of coffee and doesnât want to have to wait for a coffee maker to brew a pot, I think this is a good deal. I got it over 50% off so I paid just a little over $8.50 plus tax. I wouldnât have paid the regular price for it but thatâs a personal decision. ð

feels cheap
I don’t love the top fitting in loosely. It feels cheap, like it will fall apart. The carafe part is sturdy and nice though. It’s like it has the wrong lid but doesn’t. Easy to use and tolerable though. I just have to hold the lid on while I pour though which is annoying. Fortunately I get to drink the coffee afterwards so I get calmed down from that lol.

Don’t waste your money!
I read the reviews and unfortunately I didn’t pay attention. This thing LEAKS! ALOT!! It is not easy to clean as the water and /or coffee get trapped between the plastic and the glass After the 3rd use, it cracked! From top to bottom. I contacted Amazon for a return and was told I’d be refunded with no need to return the item. Lol. I think they do this because they know it’s going to end up in the trash. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $10 or $15 and get one that works and doesn’t leak!

Top does not fit tight.
I was disappointed in the loose fit of the top. As we know, one problem with the French press is no way to keep the coffee warm. It is important to seal and avoid air leaks. The top just sits there, rattling around with no seal. If not for the plunger I believe it would fall off when pouring coffee.

Great coffee!!
We got this because my partner and I had gotten addicted to how much smoother french press coffee is. We had it from my MIL’s french press and weren’t thrilled with the taste from the coffee pot after. It works great! It is easy to use and take apart for cleaning and makes the perfect amount of two cups so we both can get our morning caffeine fix. 10/10 highly recommend!! And if you haven’t had coffee this way before I definitely recommend trying it!!

Makes a great cup of coffee. Nice feel, size and weight. Good quality. I don’t get any grounds in my cups of coffee. Makes approximately two large mugs of coffee. Enough for a family that are only occasional drinkers except me.

Arrived today. Nice looking and made a decent cup of coffee. Very light and parts seem quite flimsy compared to my stainless steel Icokee one for approximately same price. Advert showed 2 micro meshes but came with only one. Filters don’t seem to sit square and tight on bottom, they appear somewhat tilted. Not sure if this is by design for some reason, or not.
