    Good enough for the price
This is a decent grinder. It’s sturdy, easy to use and clean. My only problem with it has been it needing to grind beans longer in order to get everything down to grounds size, which means that sometimes some of the coffee is ground to espresso sized grounds. But they still brew, and for its price it’s quite good.

    Better than expected
I picked this one up for a little help grinding bud because I have rheumatoid arthritis in my hands. I certainly didn’t want to spend a lot of money and this was the most cost-effective one in the stand up type. And it’s freaking awesome! It’s much bigger than I thought it was going to be. And it’s much quieter than I assumed it would be when operating. It would be fantastic for grinding coffee beans but if you’re picking it up for a little bud grindage you will be happy to know that this will be a wonderful accessory for your Magical Mystery Tour. I loosely break up bigger buds when I drop them in the very generous reservoir just so they don’t bounce around too much. You can really get the grind that you would like. If you want to smoke nothing but Keif consistency then let it rip. If you like my sister-in-law and don’t like to find a grind then just pulse it once or twice. It’s very easy to use and it saved this stoner’s hands. Thank you. It’s much appreciated. Now I can actually take my medicine.

Motor burned out after only 4 uses…
I purchased this grinder a couple of weeks ago and used it for the first time about 4 days ago. I wasn’t very happy with it to begin with because I use an AeroPress at home and I only grind one cup worth of beans at a time. This grinder was so powerful that it wouldn’t grind the beans up fine enough for a single cup. That being said, I do suspect that if I had been trying to grind an entire pot worth of coffee I would have had better results. (Note, however, that it did also give my coffee a bit of a burnt taste.) Additionally, it was far too bulky and an absolute hassle to clean. I live in a pretty small apartment and this took up much more space on my counter than I initially expected. Because the grinds are so uneven, there were such small particles inside that it was impossible to get them all out between uses. All of that aside, as I began grinding some beans for today’s cup of coffee, it literally stopped working a few seconds into the grind and began smoking at the base. Only getting four uses out of it sets a new record for poor quality. Moreover, this thing might actually be a fire hazard as far as I’m concerned. If you want an automatic grinder, spend the extra money and get the Krups grinder. That’s the one I’ve got at my other apartment and it has never let me down. As for me, I already ordered a small hand grinder.

Depends on what you want to use it for
The ad says coffee beans, spices, and more. I got it to grind three things – whole cloves, dried minced onions, and some horse-pill-sized supplements. I do not recommend grinding whole cloves. It ground everything very well – almost too well. In the case of the dried minced onion and the supplement, curls of very fine dust (and a lot of it) floated out as soon as I opened after grinding. This is dangerous to breathe in. In the case of the whole cloves, which is the first thing I used this with, it left a residue on the inside plastic part of the rim, and the abrasion from the grinding of the cloves sandblasted the inside of the clear lid – it is no longer clear, and has a light sandblasted texture: my concern is microplastic bits left in the ground-up cloves. I don’t know if there is, but it is obviously somewhat likely. No matter how much I wipe out the bowl, this thing now smells permanently of clove and onion. And the plastic rim at the top of the bowl, permanently stained brown from the cloves, and still smelling of cloves. So, as a grinder, it works GREAT. But, don’t try whole cloves. And maybe leave it dedicated to one thing, like coffee beans, since it appears the odors cannot be gotten rid of. I can recommend this grinder if you are keeping it dedicated to one thing only, such as coffee beans, so that you don’t have to worry about trying to get the odors out of other things. It’s also difficult to clean, in general, because you can’t take out the bowl, and you can’t really get under the blades to clean there. It’s a cute model; I like how it looks so much cuter than other grinders. It’s also cute in white. So many of the other grinders are only offered in black. Sometimes color variations, even neutral ones, are a nice option.

    Grinds through anything!
I purchased this after my old spice grinder gave up, which had lasted over 20 years! I was hesitant about this product as they don’t make them like they used to, but I was pleasantly surprised! It mills down the spices with ease, and even the bay leaves, which at times used to get stuck in the old grinder! Remember to pulse the grind, otherwise the agitation won’t be as effective. So far so great – hoping it lasts me another 20 years! 🙂

Grinder is just as pictured, and adds a beautiful splash of colour to my kitchen counter. I use this grinder every day to make nut milk for my cereal. I wish the motor was a little more powerful. Fine product otherwise.
