Attractive and Effective
I use this product to keep my coffee beans fresh. It does the job! Just make sure that when you remove the lid to take the beans out that you turn the vacuum lid button off, as it has a tendency to go on and vacuum onto the counter or wherever you place it. Once you put the lid back on to vacuum out the air, press the vacuum button back on, and it will do a great job of keeping your beans fresh…. which, after all is the purpose for buying this vacuum cannister.C,H,

Does the job well, keeps beans fresh
The canister does the job well, I haven’t had any issues, except when I open it up, after a couple of seconds if I don’t hurry weighing my beans, it’ll start auto-vacuuming without being sealed, I haven’t found a way to turn it off and it seems to be a recurring pattern. Besides that, good product.

Three years ago, I embarked on a journey of profound interest in coffee, transitioning from instant coffee to freshly ground beans. Cheaply and Poorly made: arrived broken. NOT recommended. See pics.
I had this thing in it’s original packaging and sat on a shelf until I needed it. I opened the package carefully and noticed the bottom of the glass storage container and found the bottom panel shattered as in the picture. There were also all sorts of tiny glass pieces on the lid.The glass seems about 1-2mm in thickness and didn’t survive the transport in the manufacturer’s box. I’ll recycle what I can and trash the rest.I would not accept a free replacement of the item from this company and I’d never purchase another one, nor would I buy anything else from this company.Note: that if you think I might have mishandled it in it’s original box, you should be aware that the broken section was completely covered with the manufacturer’s foam padding, so that wouldn’t be possible.

Vacuum seal does not work
Despite following the procedure to properly vacuum seal, I’ve noticed on more than one occasion this does not seal. It’s literally a gamble as to when it will work. My husband accidentally lifted it by the lid thinking it was sealed and our new (expensive) bag of beans scattered across the entire house. Avoid the headache, DO NOT purchase
