Perfect for At-Home Barista!
I love this knock box! I managed a coffee stand for 10 years and wouldâve designed mine exactly like this one. The handle is convenient and versatile so I can set it by my sink when I make my espresso and use it to dump my grounds in my garden or yard waste. I knock the tamper on the bar and rinse it before I pull my next shot. I love that it has a thin rubber piece on the bottom so Iâm not worried about my countertop when I knock the grounds out. The removable bar makes dumping and cleaning super easy and I love that it has a lid. I leave my lid open just a bit to help the moisture so fruit flies donât invade. The size is perfect for at-home and takes me about 4-5 days to fill, pulling approximately 4-6 shots per day. If youâre looking for something simple, great quality and inexpensive, this is the one for you!!

I really like it works great
I have a Breville espresso maker and almost purchase the breville version of this item. However, I prefer this one as it has a lid. I just don’t like the smell of old coffee grounds. It’s super sturdy deep enough that I don’t have to dump often and strong enough that you can tap hard enough to get grounds to pop of cup cup easily. Also looks professional on my counter.

Perfect for home use
I have had this knock box for about a month. I use it about three times a day. I have never had any problems. My only reservation before I purchased was that one review stated that the lid was not airtight and odor could escape. That is NOT what I have experienced. When I look closely I see no air gap and when I sniff near the box with the lid on no odor. The other features that I like that have been listed by others are: rugged, easy to clean, rubber feet to keep it from sliding, large enough capacity for home use, and black + stainless colors.

Wasn’t sure about adding a knock box to the counter, but well worth it. Color options make it blend in with the decor and the cover keeps things neat and tidy. The hard, rubber bar makes for quick empty of the puck without risking damage to the portafilter. The bar removes for easy cleanup, and the handle is nice for moving it around the counter or taking the spent coffee outside to mulch into the flower beds.

Good knock box, could be better
The knock box I received is pretty good overall. I can’t give it 5 stars as I would prefer it to be vented vs enclosed with the lid on it. It seems fairly durable and gets the job done, I just leave the lid off so I don’t generate mold.

Sturdy: solid buy
I was going to go cheapo and just get the standard sheet metal junkbox, but thought âwhat the heck, itâll look nice next to the espresso machineâ. Glad I bought it. Very sturdy construction, and weighted so itâs not falling over on accident. The bar stays in place perfectly, and itâs a great diameter, aaand its coating is very solid and thick. Yet when you want to remove it; thatâs a snap too. The inside being plastic or something close, is much better for easy cleaning. Just rinse off with warm water and keep brewing. The lid fits just right and is pretty solid itself, and can be rested slightly up so the grounds dry out further. The handle is a nice touch too, no more âoops, there it goes into the trash againâ.Just an all around great kitchen addition I would highly recommend to anyone with an espresso maker.Good price as well, it will last.

This espresso knock box is big and bulky, but it works as designed. It gets the job done, though I donât particularly love or hate it. Itâs a bit harder to clean compared to others Iâve used, which can be a hassle. Overall, itâs functional but not exceptional.
