Best Iâve had
I have been through 2 other grinders recently, and was disappointed in both. The last one, I waited too long to just return it. So, I tried this. Large bin for beans, quick grind, itâs not overly loud, and it sounds like a good sturdy motor. Iâm glad I was able to catch this while there was a coupon. Well worth the $$. Now I hope it lasts a long time.I had the Cuisanart for years. When it finally died, I ordered the same one, and it was nowhere near as good. And it died fairly quick. Fingers crossed this is built to last.

Iâve used 2 other burr coffee grinders in the past 3 years, both Cuisinart, and Iâm so impressed at how much better this grinder is.This grinder stays very clean. The coffee grinds doesnât get spilled on the machine or the canister. Also, the grinds donât stick to the canister so after each use, a quick wipe with a dry cloth keeps it as good as brand new.This machine is surprisingly quiet for a coffee grinder. Iâve had a few friends get surprised at the very low noise level of this machine.Itâs also very easy to use. You dial a knob to your preferred amount and press the button on the knob with a light touch to turn it on. If you want to add a bit more, you can press it on and off to add a bit more.This machine has a noticeably better craftsmanship than the Cuisinart burr grinders.

A bit loud and messy, gets the job done
What can I say, I’m a coffee snob and LOVE good coffee, but I’m also cheap. There is no way I’m going to shell out the cash for one of those expensive grinders, when this one does the job.This grinder is perfect for the job. It’s a little messy, but that’s more about the process of grinding coffee than the grinder’s problem. If you are careful and use all the parts, this little gem on the counter is great. It has two adjustments – how small you want to grind and how long do you want to grind your coffee beans. Operation is simple enough I can do it first thing in the morning. Fill the hopper with beans and press the button. The grind is consistent, the amount amount it produces on a button press is close enough for me (assuming you keep the hopper full).If you have one of those blender type pulverizers – I highly recommend this grinder to get you better coffee. Burr grinding is the best way to produce a consistent grind and a great cup of coffee. If you make coffee with pre-ground stuff – you NEED this grinder. Grinding just before brewing is the ONLY way, trust me.My only complaint is that it’s pretty loud. I always worry that I’m waking the neighbors when I press the button at 5:30 AM, but I’ve not had any complaints, yet.Not sure how durable it’s going to be, but we are a few months in and no troubles yet.Great value, great coffee – just a tad messy and a bit loud – but at this price, I’m happy.

So easy to grind the proper grind every time and amount
I had just purchased a new grinder about 2 months ago from Mocca something and that for an expensive burr grinder was a joke only after 2 months it stopped working. This Ollygrin has provided me with everything set the grind you want and set the time and it is always there so once you have your favorite ratio and blend it takes just one push of the button and you have the exact grind and amount LOVE this grinder

Does not grind fine enough for espresso
Does not grind fine enough for espresso, especially not for Turkish coffee like it claims. Smells terrible like motor is burning whenever I use it. Also vibrates so much the catch can started coming out so I have to hold it in place.Fine for regular coffee besides the smell but I’m going to return it because I wanted it for espresso.
