excellent canisters.
They will last forever. I had one for over 10 years that I used for coffee, and I decided to get a matching set. I love that they look so good that I can leave them on the counter. I appreciate the clear top because it allows me to see what’s inside, and I like that they close tightly and securely.

Nice product but dimensions are deceiving
Well, these are nice canisters and do a wonderful job of what they are meant for.With that said, the primary problem I see is with this product is the description of the dimensions in the posting, they are not correct and are deceiving buyers. I was specifically trying to find canisters with the largest diameter, and was the reason I chose to buy this product, because it was listed as having the largest diameter. To my dismay, after receiving the product I find that the diameter isn’t accurate and I could’ve bought another product for less having the same dimensions.The diameter of 5 inches shown in the pictorial is shown at the base of the product, with indicating what appears as though the base is 5 inches, but this diameter IS NOT the dimension of the base of the canister but it is the DIMENSION OF THE LID. The base is 4.5 inches, and the pictorial should show this dimension in place of what they currently show so consumers know. The canisters are indicated with a liquid volume as well, but most normal people don’t deal with such as it is more easily to judge by the diameter measurement, so buyers be aware that these canisters are not as large diameter wise as they say they are. Shop around and know that these are likely the same as most of the others, but having a better price.

great set of canisters
Had these for a few months now -they work great – they look good on the counter, seal well and keep things fresh. they are also easy to clean. no complaints- glad I purchased them!

Good but lower quality than before
Used Oggi stainless canisters for years. Love the simple design and attached lid with seal; these do keep foods fresh/usable for a long time. These new ones seem like they’ll work well and last, but changes from older set are obvious. All photos: new on left, old on right. 1. Clamp band set lower on canister, changing leverage to open/close. 2. Lift tab is longer and set lower, so it hits the counter on 26-oz size. 3. Clamp mechanism is larger with longer wires (same gauge as before), making closure less stable and sticks out farther; may impact how canister fits on shelf/next to other items. 4. New lid doesn’t line up as well with band portion, you have to align it to fit clamp over loop. 5. Use caution when removing the silicon gasket for washing; acrylic lid edge may be rough or sharp. 6. Finish is not even. Vertical marks on last photo aren’t reflections, they’re flaws along the vertical surface and on the rolled edge. 7. Materials are lighter weight: old 26-oz size is 301g, new just 244g (about 20% lighter). They weren’t heavy before, and I want them to be sturdy, resist dents, and last a lifetime–so I’m skeptical that they’re now flimsier. Time will tell.
