Edit: these have held up well I am buying more.
I wanted to split a bulk buy with my DIL & needed containers. This does the job, but probably wonât last long. Very inexpensive and filled the need.Edit: I was wrong, these are holding up very well, they ARE airtight and crystal clear, as stated above, but they are also easy to open and close with arthritic hands, and save room in my cabinets.Good Buy!

Very very good or very very bad
I bought 2 of these at the same time. I love the size and design. One of them continues to function perfectly. The other has fracture lines on three sides. They begin at the metal closure and go varying distances, some to the bottom, some 4-5 inches. So far they don’t go all the way through the acrylic plastic. I believe after 10 or 15 more opening/closing they will penetrate all the way through.In case your wondering, I live by myself. No kids, or anyone that might have damaged it. Best way I can describe the cracks, it looks like someone took an exacto knife and scored the inside of the jar.The amazon site says call oggi. They seemed familiar with the defect, but referreds me back to amazon.I love the design. The uncracked one gets a 5*. but this review is about its cracked twin.

Fits 5 lbs sugar!
Love the fact this is made in heavy duty acrylic. I didnât want glass because itâs very difficult and heavy for me to pull down product from a second shelf. This container is nice looking and light and matches my large flour container. Itâs a plus because it comes with a tablespoon that hangs from the side of the container. I love hinged containers because they seal tightly and open easily without any twists and turns.

Great for Coffee
My elderly mother was struggling with opening her bags of coffee and wanted something easier to use that would also keep her coffee fresh. So, we ordered this. We love the clear appearance. Sheâs able to see exactly how much coffee she has left, and she like how the lid seals because it keeps the air out and the coffee fresh! The size is a bit bigger than she needs, but, she finds the ease of use to be very beneficial.

My first one arrived cracked and they replaced it the very next day! I love how it seals tight and has the little spot for the scoop as well. It is not difficult to open and yet remains an airtight seal.
