This electric kettle is very sturdy, good quality, functions just as advertised, automatic shut-off, great value for what it cost, boils water to the perfect temperature for tea, cofee, oatmeal, instant soup or anything else. It is easy to use & easy to clean. The base is very light & the whole kettle does shake a bit when the water is boiling. Must be on a sturdy flat surface when in use to keep steady. I still like it, it boils the water is 2-3 minutes. I use it everyday.

Well-built Electric Kettle
I had returned 4 electric kettles before I found this one. I have used this daily for a week now, it takes a tiny bit longer to get water boiled, it’s totally okay. It is felt well-built and substantial when being held up, it is easy to clean with the wide-top as the lid is removable. it looks nice as well. It has also developed limescale at the stainless steel bottom, I use 1 cup of white vinegar and water respectively, bring it to boil, wait until it cools, pour out water and swipe with cloths, all limescale is gone. Hope it will last for years as my T-fal lasted 7 years. My search for a kettle is completed for now

First one lasted ~8 months before the switch/circuit broke, second one <2 months.
Bought this because I wanted a kettle without any plastic in contact with water. The kettle suited the purpose, but wasn't particularly enjoyable to use and broke twice.Surprisingly light with high center of mass which makes pouring often annoying which could have been solved if it was just a bit heavier. The flip-open lid is pretty flimsy and will rattle open and shut while boiling instead of staying firmly in place. The handle is unnecessarily high which means to pour steadily you have to hold by the base of the handle which is not at all comfortable or stable. The stainless steel seems actually stainless, but the heating element is very strong and close to bottom so it will "burn in" some discoloration, even after being very careful to boil while well above the minimum fill line.The final issue I had proved itself twice -- the circuit connection becomes unreliable and then wont connect at all. It begins by putting the kettle on the base to boil, flipping the switch but the switch's power indicator light won't turn on. If the kettle is slowly spun around the base you can notice a few places where the light will stay lit and you can get a boil, but that only lasts for a few weeks before the connection goes from unreliable to non-existent. I've tried cleaning the contacts on the base's connector and the socket on the kettle's underside but there is no visual issue and the metal doesn't seem deformed. Maybe something in the kettle's underside has melted near the heating element? I thought maybe it was due to accidentally boiling with too little water to diffuse the amount of heat being put out, but with my second order I was intentionally careful to always boil from at least half capacity and the problem still occurred, and in a quarter of the time.I'd probably give this kettle 3 stars if it didn't break.I'd suggest to keep looking if you want a kettle with an all-metal interior. I no longer trust this product.

Very accurate temperature!
