The bottom part of it came apart from the metal so the grounds get through. Buy it, but also buy a better filter to fit in it. Definitely worth the money instead of buying cold coffee every day, or buying the bottles of cold brew.

Half way through my first gallon of cold brew and it’s pretty good. I might have to tweak the ratio a bit. I used 3.5 cups and then filled the jar to the top with lukewarm water and let it sit on the countertop overnight. Put it in the fridge in the morning, them removed the grounds about 24hrs in. It’s really strong but I like it that way.The spout is flimsy. The mesh filter seems to be ready to come apart immediately or of the box. I don’t know how long it will last. You can see in the video that the filter doesn’t catch everything. I’m interested to see how much got through the filter when I get to the bottom.
