Pretty good for cold brew
Half way through my first gallon of cold brew and it’s pretty good. I might have to tweak the ratio a bit. I used 3.5 cups and then filled the jar to the top with lukewarm water and let it sit on the countertop overnight. Put it in the fridge in the morning, them removed the grounds about 24hrs in. It’s really strong but I like it that way.The spout is flimsy. The mesh filter seems to be ready to come apart immediately or of the box. I don’t know how long it will last. You can see in the video that the filter doesn’t catch everything. I’m interested to see how much got through the filter when I get to the bottom.

Great for birthday party
Made a cold brew for an outdoor birthday party for the parents and got tons of compliments on the dispenser. It is elegant and sturdy and fits right into the fridge nicely when itâs being prepared.The dispenser part was easy to press down and release and it was not stuck or overflowing.It is not as heavy but definitely felt sturdy and with a good weight once I filled it up

Filter is a cheap piece of junk and spout leaks
The filter broke after about 5 uses so I’m no longer able to use it to actually make coffee unless I can find a more durable filter to replace it with. The shut-off valve for the spout is also placed too far back so there is coffee left in front of the shut-off valve which slowly leaks out after you are done pouring a cup of coffee. Tipping the entire mason jar forward helps, but it’s impossible to get all of the left over coffee out so you’ll be cleaning your fridge every time you use it.

Love this jug but the filter that comes with it is cheap and flimsy. The bottom part of it came apart from the metal so the grounds get through. Buy it, but also buy a better filter to fit in it. Definitely worth the money instead of buying cold coffee every day, or buying the bottles of cold brew.
