    Works Great! Read the Review!
So far so good. I bought this tea maker to replace an old Mr. Coffee. I have attached a video, but in case it doesn’t load here are a few points from my experience.1) It is a plastic pitcher/jug and is not super thick. Not an issue for me at this point in time. Plastic technology changes and just because this is lighter than my Mr. Coffee pitcher that cracked and broke even though it was much thicker, it doesn’t mean that this pitcher will not have decent longevity. Only time will tell.2) As stated there is no OFF button, just turn on, it brews and it shuts off. If for some reason a person wants to stop brewing mid-cycle, just unplug the power cord.3) Lid will not stay on while pouring. Not an issue for me as I place a finger over the lid while pouring and there are zero issues.4) Cleanup is as simple as rinsing the wire mesh basket and dumping the minimal amount of water left in the reservoir. I leave the lid to the ice tea maker body standing up/open, and the pitcher upside down on a dish drainer along with the mesh basket. After an hour or so everything is dry and I reassemble.5) I have not used the control knob for strength of brew. I just leave on the highest setting, we use around 4-5 bags of tea and the tea is good for us. The tea has good flavor and is not bitter or super strong. We just drink plain ice tea with no added sugar.6) Regardless of stated capacity, my ice tea maker with water filled to the line and then added to the reservoir, pitcher then filled with ice cubes to the ice line produces just over 64oz of tea. I make a minimum of one pitcher (64oz) and place in one ice tea bottle. I usually make two more batches and fill a one gallon plastic jug. Depending on the household drinking habits, that will last us 4-7 days. Your mileage will vary.In conclusion, I took the time to write this review as I spent way too much time reading other reviews and bouncing back and forth trying to decide between a $300 ice maker or this one. I don’t mind spending money on kitchen appliances so price was not a deciding factor for me. I liked the looks of this ice tea maker and figured I would give it a try. I will update this review should there be any issues. I have not been paid for this review nor did I receive any items, etc.

    Perfect 3 quart tea maker
First off, those saying this is NOT a 3 quart maker, they are not going about making their tea correctly. Tea is to be diluted with Ice or cold water if preferred. Add 2 quarts of water, make those 2 quarts and then top off with ice or cold water and you have 3 quarts as intended. This machine works perfect

Great tea maker but don’t like the pitcher
I drink iced tea everyday. I’ve used the Mr Coffee brand for years but decided to try this one. It works well and I like the multiple options for brew strength. The pitcher however has a handle that is thin and could see breaking in the future. Also a few times now when pouring tea the lid just came off and tea spilt everywhere. I hold the lid now when I pour which is an inconvenience. There are markings on the lid for slotted pour or full pour but the lid just is not secure. The pitcher is a thick plastic that seems durable except for the handle which seems like it could easily break. Does make good tea though and is aesthetically pleasing. Has almost a retro look.

Retro look & Easy to Use!
I like the retro design of this tea maker. I’ve had three B&D tea machines prior but really wanted this one due to the design. My B&D pitchers always ended up cracking over time and without the pitcher, you can’t really use the machine because it has to seat the filter/tea. With this one, you put the tea in the actually machine, not on top of the pitcher, which is a bonus; I think you’d be able to use a different pitcher if this one ever cracked. The product itself does seem a little bit flimsy or not as sturdy as the B&D one, but it does the job all the same. There is a removable basket on top where I put two tea bags for my iced tea. It’s very easy to clean the basket too. If you’re looking for a cool retro-looking tea machine, I would recommend this one. I’ve been using it for a couple of months now and it’s still going really well!

    DO NOT BUY
I bought this in July 2024 and I already have to replace it because it shuts off and doesn’t make the tea fully water stays in the unit and it doesn’t ever fully empty. It is not worth $40. I’m normally a skeptic when it comes to reviews, but I suggest listening to this one because it will not last you a long time.

    Making Ice Tea
Years ago we had an ice tea maker given to us. I thought it was silly but it was very handy until I melted the pitcher in the dishwasher. A impulse led me to get this. It’s easy to use and I really love having a quick ready supply of ice tea. You can make coffee with it but as any tea drinker knows you don’t want coffee flavor from oils left on the plastic messing up your tea. I haven’t tried loose tea yet but tea bags work well. I have some Y’all Sweet Tea that comes in large tea packets and they work fantastic. You can set the brew darkness though so far I’ve only done the darkest setting. This is reasonably priced and while it takes up more counter space…I actually use it every day.

    Fast iced tea maker
I drink at least a quart of iced tea a day and this makes having fresh iced tea easy. Has multiple settings to help get the tea strength to my liking.

    It’s NOT 3 quarts!
I bought this to replace my old Mr. Coffee tea maker. It looks good, functions fine but it only makes 2 quarts of tea, not 3 as advertised. That was a disappointment as I drink a LOT of iced tea.

The iced tea maker worked great but was looking forward to a glass picture. Despite the description saying it comes with a glass picture, IT DOES NOT.
