Cheap and high quality
For $11 this is a very sturdy, high quality, easy to clean jar. It has thick glass and I use it to ferment kombucha. The lid is plastic with a seal that fits into it, like a plastic rubber, which I believe you can also buy replacement seals if you need to. It’s versatile, you can use it to ferment and carry liquids or something that you don’t want to get wet or exposed since it’s airtight. In all, it put on a good performance well and it’s affordable so I would recommend.

Use for pantries
I bought these so that I could you in my pantry for my raw cashews, I found bugs had invaded the bags. It fits a5lb perfectly. It’s great for storage, the lid is nice and tight. It’s not too heavy, but not flimsy. It works for what we need it for, and looks good! No more bugs

Great for Sun Tea even with 100+ temps
I was worried about making sun tea when it’s so hot outside. It has been over 110 for the past week but this is a very sturdy jar that works great. I don’t mind the actual plastic lid but I wish it came with something other than the thin piece of plastic/paper as the seal. For the price, I love it but I would be willing to shell out a few more bucks if it had a lid that could be washed better. Still giving it 5 stars though.

These jars are high quality and roomy. I would have preferred a disk and ring lid over a plastic lid, but it tightens nicely and is easy to clean. Excellent price point.

Worth the Purchase
Got this for my wife since she wanted to try her hand at making some homemade cherry bounce (basically freshly crushed cherries cooked with some spices, mixed into brandy, and left to ferment). Jar arrived well wrapped and without issues. And frankly for the price, it’s a thick and sturdy jar. Went through the dishwasher without issues and the jar lid definitely provided a strong seal.Overall, happy with the purchase and wife’s already back on Amazon placing an order for more jars to make more of this beverage. And knowing her, probably to help reorganize our disaster zone of a kitchen pantry….
