Mi”Tea” FIne Infuser!
I have had this infuser for over two years, and I use it daily. It is excellent quality and has not rusted. The mesh and underside have stained slightly from tea, but the rim is still nice and shiny. A good scrubbing with Bon Ami would take the tea-discoloration out, but it’s on the bottom, and it doesn’t detract in any way from the strainer. I’m wondering if the reviewer who claimed theirs rusted did not mistake the tea residue for rust. As a strainer, it is excellent and does not let any tea through. It is large enough to fit sufficient tea for a two quart pot. I’s easily cleaned with the spray function on the faucet, and the rim is large enough that it fits on wide-mouth mugs. I like the celestial motif on the rim, too, which makes it pretty and functional.

I have used tea balls for years and have not liked cleaning them. I really like this infuser because it fits over the cup and when the tea has brewed, it is lifted and I take it immediately to the trash bin for disposal of the tea. It is very easy to clean. I wish I would have purchased this years ago.

Some people may not find this much of a complaint, my last strainer, the same male and model as this one, lasted over 15 years. Some might think thatâs great.I donât.I still use my grandmother’s rolling pin, which is over 100 years old. I was hoping the last strainer would last as long as I will.I love the design, and the ease of using it.Iâm just not happy that it didnât stand the test of time.
