Fabulous warm milky wonderful whipped foam
This is a kitchen essential for anyone who wants to delight in a huge cappuccino without fuss and bother. My first Nespresso frother was one of the very first ones from many years ago (silver outside with handle), and that frother still works the same as day 1. It is because I was recommending it to a friend and searching for a link, that I discovered this larger version, and I couldnât resist the splurge! iâm so glad I did! Hereâs the pros & cons & tips:1) pro: yummie decadent goodness, turns any strong coffee into a masterpiece.2) tip: I use less than 1/3 cup coffee and then fill the rest of the cup with the warm frothed milk.3) tip: we use goat milk – works great. Have tried oat milk, gives less magnificent foam but still warm and nice. Have used regular milk, low fat, full and nonfat – low fat works pretty well, full fat the best. Nonfat gives results similar to oat milk. Horizon lactose free milk gives great results. We choose goat milk because we heard it is healthier.4) Con: If you hand clean in between each use then these A BREEZE to clean. If you try to use 2x back to back you will regret it – it will be harder to clean. These need to be cleaned in between each use (which is why I purchased larger capacity size). If you try to do two uses back to back the milk can âburnâ on the bottom. So be disciplined and always hand wash gently in between EACH use. Do not scour, clean gently.CON: Do not scoop out the finished froth with metal spoon as that will damage the inside. I bought some wooden ice tea spoons on Amazon and they are perfect for gently scooping out the foam without scratching the surface.Pro: Every person I have served a cup of coffee with this foam absolutely LOVES the result. Even folks with milk steamers say this so much easier to maintain and tastes just as good.Pro: Makes a great gift that will bring many smiles with each use.Pro: my original old one still fully functional after many years, so these built to last if treated right. I think the new one gets the froth a little warmer than the old one did. I wish the new one had a handle like my old one. Itâs worth sacrificing the handle for the largest capacity one. That way two people can have a lovely generous cappuccino from one use. The old one did enough for one generous cappuccino or two skimpy ones, so my advice is to get the large capacity one like Muny new one.Tip: to use, I fill the frother with goat milk to the fill line for frothed milk (max froth lone). I plug in the base. Then I put the frother on the base AND WAIT FOR IT TO BEEP TO SHOW ME ITS READY. Then I GENTLY glide my thumb ONCE over the âbuttonâ area. I donât push, I just glide. Thatâs all it takes to get warm frothy yummieness. IF YOU PUSH THE DEVICE TEAFS IT AS YOU EANTING COLD MILK INSTEAD OF WARM MILK, so just gently glide your thumb over the button for warm frothy milk. Easy easy easy!Five stars, highest recommendation, hope this review and photos helpful to you!10-22-2024 update: Still working great, looks like new inside and out with near daily/twice daily use. Key to maintenance is cleaning the inside with water and soft cloth between EVERY USE (or milk residue will burn if not clean before EACH use). Also, we still use wooden ice tea spoons to gently spoon out the frothy milk into our cups. If you keep inside clean and unscratched, cleaning will be a breeze every time :).

Love it
This frother makes amazing lattes as well as cold foam. It is easy to use and clean. The best part is it makes enough frothed milk for a large latte or cold foam for a large cold brew. I would definitely repurchase this item. So good!!!!

Thick and creamy frother
This frother holds a lot of milk. It makes it very fluffy and creamy, effortlessly and quickly. I know Iâm getting a quality product when I buy the Nespresso brand. My friends love coming over for a latte because it tastes like we went to an upscale restaurant!

Good, first unit was defective, not quite as frothy as Aerocinno 4
First unit was defective and didnât froth that well, then, after a few days or about a week, it stopped heating the milk altogether and I sent it back and got this new one which I tried for the first time today and in my video you can see I compared to the Aretino for which, previously I thought, made finer or better froth this time with my new unit it seemed to froth better, and I used exactly the same amount of milk, 120 mL of skim milk/fat-free milk in each one and if you look at the video you can see itâs pretty comparable froth although I do think thereâs a finer froth and a little bit thicker coming from the chino four. However, for me, I want to have a larger capacity to heat up a full cup of milk, or even a cup and a half of milk which the XL has capacity to do whereas the air chino four doesnât if you fill it up too much even sometimes when you fill it up to the max line it spills over.

Perfect size! No spill overs.
An improvement to the regular size frother. Great froth or just to warm up milk for hot chocolate.

Amazing Froth
I have had several froth appliances over the years. This one is by far the best with very thick froth. It took me a while to figure out how to get hot froth because the directions were a bit inadequate. Once I figured it out, great! Itâs easy to clean with very little noise. So far I have nothing negative to say about the appliance, just the directions.

Bad design – hard to turn on
Maybe the one I received is defective, but I have to touch and push the weirdly integrated, hard to see, âonâ button up to 15 times to get it to turn on. I have used Nespresso frothers for 20+ years and typically love them. I was excited to have one that steams more milk at once. The ones with the buttons (and additional choices) on the base work great. This one works – if you have the time to mess around with it to get it to actually turn on.

Nespresso XL frother makes excellent high density froth at 4 ounce and larger capacities. I like about 6 ounces. Easy to use and easy to clean, in part a consequence of its magnetic insert whisk which is easy to remove and reinsert. Moreover, the whisk stays in place when the frother is turned upside down. Definitely worth the price (I first tried a well known cheaper brand). Iâve had the Nespresso XL a week and use it daily. Hopefully it will stand the test of time.

Great product for my lattes. Foams milk fast and makes it the perfect temperature

A couple of weeks ago we started having issues with steam dial on our espresso machine.Looking for the replacement options, only for foam, because otherwise the espresso machine itself works fine even after eight years of everyday use, I searched for a frother that can make enough foam for two cups. One of the rare capable to produce such a quantity of froth was Aeroccino XL.I ordered it and when I received it, I was at first disappointed because my first froth was so-so. Then I found, with a little help from Aeroccino users, that regular 2% milk in a bag was not good enough to produce rich froth. I went to a store and bought 2% milk in a carton. I poured it into Aeroccino XL, pushed the button and about two minutes later it was WOW! With milk at the minimum level, I had more than enough foam for my cup of cappuccino (see photo). To be honest, I have never produced that good foam with steam from my espresso machine. And every time I do it, for one or two cups, the foam is consistently rich and good. My cappuccino is better and tastier than ever. But, as I learned, milk is critical. You do not need specialty milk to have fantastic foam, but do not try with ordinary milk in a bag.

I love the product in itself but the first one I got was faulty hence had to get it replaced by Amazon, which was a relatively smooth process. Perfect froth for cappuccinos and lattes! â¤ï¸

Good froth, does both warm and coldGoes into the dishwasher, which is definitely a plusminus one star as, contrary to other models, doesn’t come with a spare agitator
