Q: How to do when meet Insufficient extraction of coffee?
A: 1. Use medium to dark roast coffee beans, ground to a slightly coarser texture than flour.
2. Use 8-9g(1 flat spoon) for a single shot and 17g(2 flat spoons)for a double shot.

Barista Vibes
Being a latin household, we regularly make espressos especially when company comes over. I wanted to upgrade to a more professional type of machine and this has been a nice choice. It took me a little while to figure out how to use it with all the different components, etc. but I followed the instructions and that first cup of coffee came out really nice. The apparatus for frothing the milk seems to be a little low but I adapted. It’s not all stainless steel; some parts are just shiny silver plastic and doesn’t seem as high quality as others but those others are also more expensive. I am pleased overall.

Easy to use and looks great with other appliances
We recently made the switch from cold brewing coffee to using this espresso machine, and we really enjoy it. We make a latte or two every day and canât imagine going back to how we used to brew our coffee. This machine is easy to use and very intuitive. Cleanup is simple enough and doesnât take much time. It appears to be well made and I can imagine using this for a long time to come. Like all things, if we take care of it, it should last. Espresso machines come in all shapes and sizes. Although this isnât a fancy one, I believe it is a good one to start with. The price is entirely reasonable for what you are getting. I would recommend this for anyone who is considering a more affordable espresso machine.

Makes A Great Cup
I am not an espresso snob but I do enjoy it. I have a cheaper espresso maker that is, candidly, pretty low budget but I don’t want to spend a ton of money on a machine I won’t use every day.After getting this machine and running it through the initial flushing (super easy process) I grabbed a couple of me ESE pods to see how it performed. I was surprised by how much better (smoother, no bitterness) the brew was from this machine-night and day actually.The first pod I used was the Caffe Borbon Blu which resulted in the machine reaching 10 pounds (on machine’s gauge) and the output was a fuller cup than my other machine. The taste was smooth and enjoyable.The second pod was and Illy Classico and there must be some difference in the grind/volume between the two pods as the Illy pulled the full 15 pounds from the machine. Again a smooth cup with no bitterness.The frother is also much better than my other machine but frothing is not something I am very good at so my initial attempt resulted in some well heated and slightly foamy milk but nothing like my dedicated frother. Great for Latte etc. but not for a macchiato-but again that may well by my lack of skill.All in all this is a great machine for the casual espresso drinker who is not willing to spend a load of money on a machine. All the parts feel heavy duty and they are sized correctly, not the smaller lightweight gear from my other machine.

Neretva Espresso Machine Stainless Steel
Let’s just say that this is one nice Espresso machine! Very well made and compact. But do understand, especially if you have never used one of these machines, that it does take some practice. Read the instructions carefully. That being said, it makes some great coffees! And don’t forget to clean the machine. I believe if we take care of this machine, keep it cleaned, that it will last a long time. We are still practicing with it but so far, this has been a very good order!!

Disappointed
Two stars just for good look and idea that I can control the process.The first machine I received , pressure gages did not worked. After I replaced it and got new machineI steel run into same problem. Going to ship it back again and buy different brand.

Arrived not functional
I set up this machine right out of the box, and loaded in the grounds. First try, no crema it just made bitter black coffee. I ground the coffee finer, loaded it up, and tamped with more pressure. Same result. I tried again this time grinding as fine as I could get it (Oxo burr mill grinder). Loaded it using the dosing ring. Tamped it with the included tamper. Same thing – just black coffee. The pressure gauge needle never moved on any of these attempts, so I concluded the unit was not achieving any pressure at all; just putting hot water through the grounds. Sad but I had to return it – on it’s way back. No more Neretva machines for me!!

Easy to start for novice user
58mm portafilter with 15bar pressure. Simple to operate by switches, and include milk foaming on the side.It comes with a startup accessory that include milk measuring cup, and coffee ground tamper tool.If you are looking for a simple but effective espresso machine to start with, I recommend to try Neretva espresso machine, it’s great to pick up when there is a deal.
