Great for coffee on the go!
This grinder is the perfect compliment to my travel coffee maker. It is a rechargeable USB-C grinder with an included attachment that lets you manually grind beans by twisting (so you are never without coffee even when without power). The grinder ring at the bottom allows you to adjust the grind of your coffee from ultra fine (espresso) to chunky (drip / French press). I also like that I can store my beans in the grinder so I don’t need to bring extra containers with me.
The grinder does take a couple of minutes to grind at the finest settings however it’s worth the wait as it works significantly better than my plug-in grinder.
I have used the grinder now for 5 days everyday, at least 2 times a day, and I have yet to need to recharge it. A+!

Great for the first-timer
I’m in my mid 40’s now, and never did the coffee thing outside of the occasional Starbucks run in college, and the ground up stuff at the grocery store. Sometimes processing returns at my job we end up with a lot of stuff that wasn’t supposed to be there – they weren’t ours and couriers would sometimes tell us they can’t take them back so we’re stuck with them. More times than I can remember I received bags of coffee beans, so when this came up, I thought I’d try it. There’s something really to be said about fresh ground beans – there’s a profound difference. This little machine is simple enough for a guy whose never used them before could figure out in no time flat, and the 5 different levels of grind is a nice way to “tune” your grind. I guess I’ll do the fancy-thing for a while. Super easy to use, super easy to charge, the battery life is good enough for what I use it for, and it’s very easy to clean as well.

Great for small servings
Great coffee grinder for individual servings. I wouldnât use it to grind a lot at a time because it isnât fast, but convenient for portable use or the daily cup of coffee. Not too noisy and easy to use and clean. Itâs also easy to adjust the grind size and does accurately make coarse to fine grinds. If you have limited space in your kitchen and just need one serving at a time, this is a great grinder.

Really Even Grind
Compared to my electric plug-in coffee grinder, this is exceedingly slow. It took 2-3 minutes to grind coffee for 2 cups of coffee. The electric takes 10-15 seconds, holding a button until you get the grind you want, which of course varies by the way you press. And the electric uses a blade, like a blender, and the grind isn’t as perfectly even or aromatic as the coffee from this grinder. This one is a burr grinder and it grinds coffee perfectly evenly to the granular level you want–there are five grind settings to make the right size for each type of coffee maker. Even though it takes awhile, you don’t have to tend to it. It operates on its own, shutting off when every last bean is ground. Overall, this is superior to the blade type and I will probably use it instead–I’ll just do the grinding ahead of time before I need to make coffee.

This model is touted as being an update, but it still has problemsâ¦
The coffee grinder I had for years died a couple of weeks ago and I donât care for the replacement I bought, so I was initially pleased that I had the opportunity to test this one. Unlike the other grinders Iâve had, this one is battery operated – it charges via a USB cord – and can also be operated manually via a crank with a telescoping arm.
The unit comes with a manual which I didnât find helpful other than learning that the section that holds the beans should only be filled up a maximum of 80% of the way: so, this unit holds less than I thought it would (approximately 1/4 cup of beans – more of a single use unit).
I experimented with the grinder and discovered that you select the size of the grounds by removing the bottom receptacle and rotating the brown disk (there are five settings to choose from). The instructions state that if you hold down the power button for two or more seconds, it causes the grinder to run for 5 seconds before it automatically shuts off. While this was true when I tested the unit empty, the moment I added beans and it was under load, the unit frequently ran continuously until the power button was re-engaged again.
When the finest grind is selected, the machine runs slow, bogs down, and clogs intermittently, so it appears that the unit is underpowered although it was fully charged. Also, the coffee was not as finely ground as I anticipated. At the coarsest setting, it becomes extremely inconsistent, leaving chunks and pieces of bean in the grinds. This last issue defeats the purpose of a burr grinder as consistency is a burr grinderâs main selling point. The manufacturer did included (10) filters as a bonus.
The unit itself doesnât feel as solid or sturdy as the other grinders Iâve had and the locking mechanisms are somewhat weak. Because of this and all of the other issues I encountered, I was tempted to give it a single star, but it is portable and would be useful under the right circumstances (camping, etc); so, Iâm rating it a 2.

works ok
Got this for help grinding up herbs from our tea and spice garden. Works ok.
You can get a decently fine grind on it but its not consistent. You have to run it a handful of times for an even grind. I’d rather just do it manually if I’m going to spend the time rerunning it.
