Great for Cold Brew
I was looking for a way to cut back on my Starbucks runs and spending and I got this pitcher. It is great. I love that I can use my own coffee grounds and that the various pieces come apart so that I can clean it easily after each brewing. It has saved me so much money. I have shared the listing with my friends since I love it so much! Would recommend over and over!!

Followed the directions to the letter. Cold brew very bitter. Tried again with shorter time and again with longer time. Same result

Our cold brew maker
we use this picture to make our cold brew. Usually, we let it steep for three days and it is perfectly black and strong just like we like it. Itâs easy to clean and itâs very simple to use. I wish it was a little bigger since we have to brew about three pictures a week, but we bought a regular pitcher to pour it into once itâs ready. This way it doesnât mess up the cycle and weâre not left without any coffee.

What’s with the lid?
When I went to purchase this, I saw a few reviews mentioning the odd lid design, and never have I ever received a product and had a “wow, no kidding” response almost immediately. Okay, I’ll try to explain it. It’s basically a huge screw off top, but with giant threads. This means that when you need to open the spout to pour your drink, you’re unscrewing the top half way, creating an opening at not just the spout, but around the entire circle that is the lid. IF you don’t screw it on in the right way, the spout end will end up on the handle end.Not a big deal but in the hundreds of years of container development, it’s certainly something you would expect on the cutting room floor of a 1940’s container lid invention factory. So, that’s the main drawback.The other drawback is it’s plastic. It feels cheap. It’s more so a cold brew maker, but I tried using tea instead, and it just didn’t work. Not sure if a glass bottle is needed with Sun Tea, but it simply didn’t extract like I expected.I didn’t use it for cold-brew, but I’ve made my fair share and I can tell you, the holes in the inner filter would absolutely not be fine enough. I would expect the need to run it through some cheese cloth to pull out all the small bits of coffee grounds.AT this point, it’s going to be a pitcher for me. I’ll make the tea or whatnot in something else, then just pour it out of this. This….cheap plastic container with a lid that just baffles me. One positive I’ll leave on is it looks decent considering the lower price point. I give it 3 stars, nothing great but could be worse.

Easy to use. Easy to clean.
I love my cold brew but didn’t like my previous system as it was difficult to get clean, dribbled, and got grounds in my coffee.This is easy to use, easy to clean (the filter unscrews at the bottom and the top), and closes tightly to keep my coffee fresh.I purchased a second one to keep brewing as I was using the first. These are a goodvalue for the money and sized to in my fridge door.I don’t dilute my coffee and actually enjoy the taste of my home-brew much more than the overpriced, over-iced stuff I can buy at the schmancy coffee places so popular in my area–and I never have to wait in line.

I first noticed this product’s durability. I like that it’s plastic, so it’s not heavy or awkward. It’s easy to take apart, clean, and maintain. It comes with a reusable filter that holds about 28 tablespoons of coffee grounds. So you can make a really strong cold brew. One of the best things I’ve bought on Amazon lately. My friends also love it and asked me to share the link so they could buy one, too.
