Surprisingly good.
I purchased this on a recommendation from my bestie cuz I wanted something more on a personal size w/o having to make a whole damn pot. She recommended this & I’m glad I listened. Not only does it do hot coffee but iced coffee as well & I didn’t want to have to deal w/pods. It also comes w/a tumbler to use for the iced coffee, but 1 can use a 30oz tumbler providing it fits which is what I use. It’s also very simple to use & clean.The only thing I was disappointed with is not being able to find filters small enough for the basket for easier clean up BUT it’s not a deal breaker. After all, it does come w/a reusable filter so you simply have to take it out & clean it.It’s not a pricey machine & at least I’m familiar w/the Mr. Coffee brand which is another reason as to why I purchased it.

Excellent coffee every time.
This Mr Coffee one cup hot and cold is an excellent machine. It is for those who care about making coffee the way they like it. It is not for everyone. It is only for those who like me care deeply about our environment. With all the TALK about GREEN companies and such, most people just donât give a damn. This machine makes excellent hot and cold coffee without the use of the disastrous and highly anti-environmentally-conscious, earth polluting K-Cups. I would NEVER use those. You buy and measure your favorite ground coffee and simply put it into the reusable mesh filter. The genius of this machine is the measuring spoon made for either hot or cold with the amazing tumbler with lid and straw for the great cold coffee I have been enjoying this summer, hottest summer on record BTW for all the climate crisis deniers! This machine was HALF the price of a Keurig and I DONâT pollute our planet one speck as I compost my used coffee grinds. Letâs think about the planet while we save $$$ – what a concept!!!***Iâm updating my review. Initially as I bought this in the summer, Iâd made cold coffee and it was great using the measuring scoop that comes with the machine. However, as itâs now Fall going into Winter, I only make hot coffee. What Iâve found is that the measuring scoop is not right for hot coffee to my taste. For me to enjoy it, I measure coffee using the instructions on the ground coffee brand and it comes out perfectly. By using the scoop I had been making too strong and bitter coffee AND was wasting it. Making hot coffee requires much less by measuring with the amount suggested by the manufacturer of the coffee. Iâve been making all kinds of hot coffee and finally figured out how to make it best = Measuring by tablespoons and not the scoop. Enjoy every cup!!!

Went with another brand
This was a decent little coffee maker. I was searching for something specially to brew iced coffee. I liked that this one included a nice tumbler. When I received it, I noticed it is really light weight, and decided to return and go with a different brand that has a specific feature for iced coffee.

Great value choice coffe maker
I hate the idea to use k cups or the Nescafe aluminum cups which create a whole lot of needles trash. This coffee maker has a similar form factor without the need to use these expensive coffe pods. Simply use any ground coffee and make one cup at a time. I tried today the iced coffee in the tumbler that comes with it. Works perfect. We will use this coffee make in the camper that has some limited storage space. A few downsides are there is a bit of a drip once you remove the cup and the basket with the spent coffee grounds. Also the basket is still hot. So you will need to use a spoon to fish it out if you do multiple cups one after another. So its great for brewing a single cup or two. Not ideal for a family of half a dozen coffee drinkers. But for a small office, your Motorhome or airbnb or guesthouse it is a great alternative to a bigger more expensive machine. At that price you can’t go wrong. Plus you can use your favorite ground coffee. That alone is a plus. Use it a few dozen times instead of a machine with K cups and the machine paid for itself in the savings you already made.

My obsession!
This is the 2nd one I buy, my little sister kept my 1st as she too loved it – this is a MUST for a caffeine lover of both hot and cold brew. It’s quick, easy, and reasonably priced. I did want to make note of a review seen here where the carbon filter and disc were deemed “unknown items”.. they are NOT! The box comes with instructions and explanation that it’s a water filter/disc used to put over the brewer to aid in water purification. It has a red arrow indicator that moves to the first letter of said month as a reminder to change every 30 days. Another review I’ve seen is that the brewer is “messy” as it splashes when using a mug/smaller cup as opposed to a taller one; I feel that for what it does a quick rag/paper towel wipe isn’t too much to ask. 10/10 recommend!

I love this thing!
I purchased this just to replace my other one cup coffee maker that would spit coffee everywhere and malfunction. I didnât even know when I ordered this that it also makes iced coffee! This thing works like a charm, doesnât make a mess and makes perfect iced coffee!

Mi hija tiene un gusto por café helado, era casi a diario que fuera a starbucks o caffenio para comprar uno, se lo compramos de navidad, esta feliz (yo tambien) ella porque le gusta mas el café como le queda con esta maquina y yo porque ahorro en café.
