    Effortless Grinding
As a coffee enthusiast, I’ve used various grinders over the years, but this one stands out for its simplicity, efficiency, and ease of use.The grinder’s 5 presets make it incredibly easy to achieve the perfect grind consistency for any brewing method. Whether I’m making espresso, drip coffee, or French press, I can simply select the appropriate preset and let the grinder do the rest. This feature takes the guesswork out of grinding and ensures consistent results every time. The 12-cup capacity is another standout feature of this grinder. It’s perfect for brewing large batches of coffee for gatherings or for stocking up on ground coffee for the week ahead. The spacious grinding chamber accommodates enough beans to meet my caffeine needs without the hassle of constant refilling. One of the things I love most about this grinder is how easy it is to clean. The removable grinding chamber and lid can be easily washed by hand or placed in the dishwasher for hassle-free cleaning. The sleek black exterior wipes clean effortlessly, maintaining its appearance with minimal effort.Additionally, the compact design of the grinder makes it easy to store on my countertop or in a cabinet when not in use. It doesn’t take up much space, yet it packs a punch in terms of performance and functionality.

    Works well
Used to grind fresh coffee beans. Settings for different amounts. Easy to remove cover. Very loud for me, I use earplugs.

    Nice but somewhat noisy
Bought this to replace and older Mr. Coffee grinder that lasted for years. Really like the one touch automatic grinding, but this new one is quite loud compared to the older one (which still works). Where I could carry on a conversation while using the old one, it’s difficult to talk over this one. Probably not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of.

    Easy to use. Grinds well.
This coffee bean grinder is easy to use. It operates in a clean manner, leaving all the ground coffee within the grinding chamber. It doesn’t allow some of the grounds to escape the grinding chamber and cause a mess to the exterior of the grinding chamber and to the countertop. However, when this coffee grinder sometime in the future needs replacement I think I’ll spring for a more expensive model. One with a bean hopper that feeds the beans into a grinder and deposits the ground beans into a lower chamber. Why, you ask? So as not to have to extract the grounds from around the cutting blade and to grind a greater volume of beans. I see that Mr. Coffee makes such a model and I might have enjoyed it even more than the model I did buy.

It vibrates the lock open, but it will make finely ground coffee.
Theoretically you should be able to fill this grinder with beans, twist the lid on, push the button and then leave it to grind on its own. This was supposed to be a big upgrade from the previous Mr. Coffee grinder I had, which required that the button be held down for it to operate. It turns out this one isn’t much different in that regard. When the lid is twisted closed, the back of it has to stay latched or the grinder will stop working. Unfortunately the cup moves as the blades spin, and it turns itself and the lid out of the latch that keeps it operating. So I just end up having to hold it in place, anyway. I don’t know why they did t design it so that the direction the blades spin is the direction you turn to -lock- the cup instead of unlock it. It seems like it would have been an easy fix.As a positive, it is less messy than the one I had previously, which would dump coffee grounds around it when I twisted the lid to remove it or to use the scraper inside that loosens the coffee grounds from the walls of the cup. The scraper on this one isn’t any more effective than the one in the other version was. The plastic arms don’t sit flush with the bottom, so it just leaves grounds stuck down there that have to removed by hand. I use the beans for espresso, so to get the grind I want, I run it once on the fine grind/twelve cup setting, and then again on the fine grind/four cup setting. It does eventually get to a pretty fine grind, though. You could get a fine powder out of it if you chose.

    Efficient and affordable.
I absolutely love this coffee grinder. I just needed something compact and affordable for my counter and this fit the bill. I love that all I have to do is set how fine I want the coffee grounds to be and press the button and it grinds it and then shuts off automatically. I don’t have to stand there holding the button the whole time. I can easily get my coffee pot cleaned and setup while the grinder does it’s thing. Very quick and convenient. It’s made out of plastic but feels durable. I have had zero issues with it thus far and I have had it for 6+ months.

terribly designed. stops grinding if you dont hold lid shut. chamber is already broken after 2 mnths
It did grind coffee well but have to hold lid turned shut or it would shut off; grinding chamber already broke after 2 moths at poorly designed cam lock area and now has a hole in it rendering it useless. chamber cleaning device is worthless and doesn’t even work when you pull grinding chamber off unit and dump it into coffee maker which is exactly when you need it to work. I’ve gone back to using my old IDS77 modelwhich still works well but blades are worn so a few more seconds to grind. dump it and chambermaid cleans out well still. I wish I could buy a new IDS77 instead. way better device

I have had a few coffee grinders over the years. This is the best one yet. It is sort of the 2nd generation of Mr. Coffee bean grinders and has a lot of great features. I really like the fact that it is automatic — you don’t have to hold the button down. It has 5 grind settings instead of 3 that the previous style had. It is easy to set the number of cups that you are grinding. If you always do the same number of cups, you don’t have to change it. I have read lots of reviews about how noisy it is — not much louder than any other grinder that I have had. If you set the grind, put in the recommended amount of beans, and select the number of cups, it grinds perfectly. The cleaning is the same as the old style — twist the cap back and forth and it cleans the grinds off the sides and bottom. Not sure if some people writing reviews actually understand how this thing works. Don’t let the negative reviews put you off — it works great!
