Quick and easy
I love having this stuff on hands for a quick cup of coffee. I love that itâs organic so I know is clean. It is a little on the expensive side, but I expect that with organic products. I like the decaf option for those evening cups. My husband also likes to take these for his overnight hunting because they are light and easy to use and he has a great cup of coffee in the morning with just some hot water needed

Mount Hagen Organic Fair Trade Coffee Single Serve packets are perfect for travel! We have been using them for three years, since Starbucks reduced their offering of Decaf Vias. Our Hotels and Airbnbs rarely offer Decaf, and if they do it is usually a blonde or medium roast. Mount Hagen Coffee flavor is bold, more like a Dark Roast, and actually has better flavor than Starbucks. Cost is Amazing…100 Coffee Sticks for $32.99. We keep them on hand stored in an airtight container, ready to grab and pack. I don’t review often, but when I do it’s to share a ‘find’.

Light flavor, interesting aroma
I purchased this coffee because Iâve been drinking Starbucks VIAâs for years and I think itâs finally taking a toll on my stomach and Iâm trying to get away from caffeine, however I love my morning coffee. This is much lighter than Iâm used to compared to columbian roast. Usually with the viaâs I could use one packet for my whole cup of coffee which obviously dilutes it, but thatâs that flavor Iâm accustomed to. So for my first try I used 2 packets (followed the directions) for my size of cup. The aroma is weird at first and then changes in to a nice almost sweet chocolaty aroma.Overall Itâs an enjoyable coffee and inexpensive way for me(the only one in my house)to have my morning coffee. Hopefully the lower acidity will give my stomach a break.

Surprisingly good
I cannot have caffeine. None. I am a generally sad person because of this, but I need to sleep and caffeine keeps me from sleeping. But I like coffee and I want to drink it. At home, no problem. I can find good (“good”) decaf. But, when I travel I have a problem. Most of the world rightfully thinks that decaf coffee is an abomination, and thus it is not widely available. So, for a recent trip, I bought these little packets so I could enjoy my sad, fake coffee abroad. And… they are pretty good! They don’t hurt my stomach. They don’t taste sour or burned. The crystals dissolve easily. These are better than decent, and I would buy them again.

In my fruitless search for a delicious and worthwhile decaf instant coffee, I finally found ONE
I’ve tried several different brands all boasting of “authentic” coffee taste. LIES. None taste of coffee, none taste of any effort to match the flavor. Since my normal daily cup is regular caffeinated drip coffee and always black, I’m somewhat picky for a rich and smooth coffee flavor without the burnt, bitter, skunky, weak, non-oiliness that comes from traditional decaf of any kind. So I went on a quest to sample every instant decaf I could find… because, I drink coffee late at night because its darned good with a cigar, but I don’t want the caffeine. Finally after reading some terrible articles online about the “best”, I eventually got to Mount Hagen and read all the reviews. The reviews are exactly the same as the review for all the bad ones I’ve read. But for some reason this one is highly ranked and consistently.So I tried it. At first I put too much water. They really are measured for 8 oz and absolutely no more than that. My travel cup is 16 oz and two packets works perfectly. I even short pour it by about an ounce or two because I like it a little stronger.1) I like it, it tastes like coffee. Its not perfect… its definitely not deeply rich and delicious like regular caffeinated fare but for a decaf and for an instant, its very very good. I would drink this at night at home because I just felt like coffee or with my favorite dinner dessert.2) As a whiskey and wine drinker I look for subtleties in flavor or body and I find this one to be surprisingly savory. The flavor can be a little thin initially… once you settle into the cup it gets better. I also find that less hot is better which isn’t an issue with freeze-dried crystals.3) The sachets are tiny, I use two… as a backpacker, this is going to be my new camp coffee as I’ve already ordered the caffeinated and reordered more decaf.4) I’ve found that in most cases, decaf drinkers cheat with creamer and sugar to make the taste more tolerable. I drink my coffee black and find that practice to be unacceptable. Hence the effort into finding a good to drink iteration of the two worst forms of cafe, decaf and instant. My search is over… the other products I’ve purchased in this effort have already gone out in the trash.

OK Instant Coffee
I am apparently not much of a coffee snob. I wanted instant (decaf) coffee to take camping, and this product was at the top of a lot of lists, so I got it to try out. It worked fine. The taste was OK, but nothing like brewed coffee. That’s fine, as long as it is drinkable, I’m satisfied. However, basic Taster’s Choice or other inexpensive instant coffee tastes just as good to me, so I save some money and go with that now.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this coffee. Rich flavor and full bodied, non-bitter coffee. Convenient and Organic. I have at least one cup a day (a treat to have more). Effortless to make. Secure individual packages make it easy to travel with and easy to do at home. And very little landfill waste (the pouches). The box itself is recyclable. I had to switch from the regular coffee to decaffeinated for health reasons. Their decaffeinated is just as good. My favorite part of the day is when Iâm drinking this coffee. Recommend!!

Delicious, fairtrade, organic, non-chemically decaffeinated!Have to drink decaf now, and make a pourover each day, but, want a quick hot cup when I wake up, so I buy some instant as well. Have tried many instant decafs, this is by FAR, the best yet!Seems expensive at first, but actually costs about 60 cents per cup.It is convenient in the pre measured packs. I like my coffee strong and use a little over a cup of boiling water. It has a bold, rich, espresso like flavour.My son don’t drink decaf, and also thinks it’s delicious, so that says a lot!

I think this is one of those examples where a product is packaged to make it seem larger than it is. If it was in a jar it would be a very small one. I don’t like the fact that you can’t adjust the amount without doubling it or leaving a partial package to go stale. It does have good taste, but not out of ordinary. But that’s possibly just me, for others it may be great tasting …I just feel like I’m being sold something that is less for the money. I suppose that if you only use a 250 mil cup it might have ok taste, but I use a mug and have to double up to get a good cup of coffee. So, even though good taste, not worth the money.
