Perfect small teapot which I use at work or camping
I was amused opening that box that the teapot has a constellation on the internal steel filter. I love the top steel top comes apart into two pieces so if you use it like I do, once or twice with my own herbal tea blends topping off the water. you can just pour in more hot water and the filter and cap stay really securely in the glass pot because of well made silicon seals on the metal bits The pot is easy to clean and is well balanced pouring. I had to be outside talking all day for work and I kept topping off my ginger/cinnamon/orange peel herbal tea concentrate into my drinking water for the weekend and for once I did not lose my voice. I feel the glass teapot is a strong glass even if it is not borosilicate or lab glass its tone is close when I gently strike it. I feel because of the balance and how it is made it should last well with use and its small size is easy to cushion and transport for use away from home. The simplistic well designed products show their quality and I think this is a nice quality.

East Asia Teapot size, NOT western
This cute little teapot is perfect and just as described!! ^-^ the steel strainer is an insert that the lid sits in. The strainer has 3 sections— at the back an opening to pour in water, at the front the strainer/spout and between the opening and strainer is a cut out of the Big Dipper and stars! A very cute homage to “water”. The lid also has an half circle cutout over the spout.—-Please note that drinking tea is different everywhere and the size of this pot is inline (specifically) with traditional Eastern Asia teacup sizes and tea philosophy of “tasting” tea vs. western “drinking” tea. In the concept of “tasting” tea you make multiple small batches of tea, appreciating the different nuances that naturally come with every new pot as the tea gets weaker. 🙂 here in western culture it’s almost the opposite, we tend to make 1-2 cups or one full pot only to are liking which means bigger cups and pots. hopefully this explanation of “why the small pot?” is found helpful ^~^”

    Too tiny to be useful
Read your specs carefully because this is more of a cream pitcher than a tea pot.The reason is it is so itty bitty that it hold less than a cup of tea.Honestly, is so small that the nicest thing I can say about it is that it is cute.In every other respect it is exactly like a regular glass tea pot with an infuser/strainer top. While it is possible to use this for tea, the appeal will be to people who prefer to brew very small quantities, under 8 oz.Alas, for me, that size is better suited to accoutrements for tea, rather than tea itself.

Cute and saves on loose tea bags
I usually use disposable tea bags for my loose tea, but decided to give this a try. It is very small, but it does a good job of steeping, and keeping tiny bits from ending up in my mug. Very cute little item, perfect for anyone who uses loose tea but doesn’t want to stock up on tea bag filters just to throw them away.

GREAT for SAUCES, TOO SMALL for TEA!
When I ordered this Borosilicate Glass Teapot, I knew it would be SMALL, but it is S M A L L!It holds 3/4 cup of maple syrup for just one to three people. But for teatime, this is just toooooooo small! The design is beautiful, and the stainless steel insert has a strainer side and an open pour side.I LOVE the SHAPE and the LID!I’ll use this teapot for sauces and salad dressings now that I only cook for ONE!But NOT for TEATIME!

    Teapot
It’s a cute tiny little glass teapot. I wanted a clear teapot so I can see what’s inside. It’s not large, but for a single person, the size is fine. It adequately strains loose tea leaves. It’s cute looking, but works well.
