This all-metal 1.5L french press is very well made. The outer surface of the container has a semi-rough black-painted texture that gives it a classy look, topped with a golden coloured lid that provides a nice visual contrast.The container is doubled-walled, with the interior made of polished stainless steel. It’s able to keep hot (boiling) liquid warm for approximately 2 hours.The press itself fits inside the container quite tightly, so requires a bit of force to press down and lift the press lever rod.Due to its metal construction, be aware that the cold metal could substantially lower the temperature of the hot liquid when you initially pour into the container. I typically swirl the interior with hot water to heat up the metal before pouring the hot liquid into it.

I really like this coffee press.I use it at work. Sure beats having to constantly get up and head to the work kitchen to get yet ANOTHER cup of coffee.I prepare it (super easy to do) and bring it to my desk. The liquid stays warm for approx 1 hour and then starts to cool down. In my case, I never last the hour, using the whole thing within 45 mins or so.Excellent materials used and everything is well designed. Pours well and makes delish coffee, although because it is a french press and not perk coffee i would recomend a higher grade and quality coffee.

Coffee Press… So Good!

Beautiful and makes great, smooth coffee, but only a half mug at a time. I wish the 21 ounce had been available.

BELLISSIMO!!!
I bought this because I knocked over my press and it broke. I got it in literally two days which is unheard of where I live. This press is beautiful to look at… very art deco designed. It is sturdy and easy to use and clean.Kept my coffee hot for over an hour.If I were to give you one piece of advice when using a french press is get something long like a chop stick or a kabob stick or even just a butter knife and stir after you put the water and coffee in before you put the plunger down. It aids in the brewing of the coffee and makes pushing the plunger much easier.I am glad I bought this product and would buy again but hoping I do not have to lolol

It doesn’t break like glass, plus insulates.
So glad to find a French press that isn’t so fragile. Plus it holds the heat better than glass. Very sturdy and easy to clean.

good quality, very small
I loved it. I was looking for quality and size. I was taken aback by just how small this is. It is enough to make one nice-sized cup of coffee, which is perfect for me. What I liked was they also supplied two extra screens. It was well worth the money. I’m trying to downsize all my coffee makers.

I love my one serving French Press! It’s small, easy to handle and easy to clean. Takes up less room on the kitchen counter. The craftsmanship is outstanding! Also, great for gift giving!

Kinda chinsy, but gets the job done
A few annoying things, but altogether fine. Nice size for 2 small cups in the morning.Pros:-It’s not glass and doesn’t shatter when I drop it in the sink while doing dishes. Woo!-It came with 4 little filters.-The two metal pieces that hold the filters can be tightened from the top AND bottom with a cool little mechanism, so the filters are always tight. This is nice.Cons:-The most annoying thing is that when you unscrew the bottom part to clean the filters and two metal parts that hold it on, it is a pain to unscrew. Since the top “knob” of the plunger also unscrews, sometimes that wants to unscrew instead of the bottom. Just a little PITA I don’t love every morning.-The plunger makes an annoying loud *clank* sound when you let it slide up or down that is more annoying than other french presses in my life. Again, another unwelcome thing inthe morning. I put a rubber band under the top part of the plunger so it at least doesn’t clank when it slides one way.-On mine, the “knob” of my plunger that you push down is welded crookedly (see pic). That is not a big problem, but just shoddy craftsmanship.-It doesn’t insulate the coffee as well as I’d hoped. I wasn’t expecting hydroflask-level insulation, but even so, it’s pretty poor insulator. Nothing a towel blanket can’t fix to keep your 2nd cup warm.

Works great & looks great
I’m enjoying this attractive, compact French press. Keeps coffee hot, has a plunger that turns to allow you to pour coffee, then turns to allow you to close it & keep coffee hot. Negative reviews of several French press models complain about threads stripping where the filter plate screws on. I wonder if some folks are detaching the plate for washing for every use, which I think is unnecessary. I just leave it on & give it a good swish in hot soapy water. When the time comes to take it apart & replace the filter I’ll adjust this review if problems arise.
