The small pot is perfect for 1-2 cups of tea (in a regular teacup NOT a coffee mug). I love the way the infuser is made. Be careful it is extremely light weight without the metal infuser attached and will break if not handled with care. I broke mine before I even got a chance to wash it, on the same day I received it. It’s so light it slipped out of my hands and shattered on impact. I just ordered a new one because the size is perfect for someone who only wants to enjoy a cup or 2 of loose leaf tea.

I like the size of this little teapot. It holds two cups. Keeping the lid on helps to keep the tea warm while I’m drinking a cup. The teapot opening is large so it’s easy to clean. I heat the water in a separate teapot then pour it into the small one. So far I’ve found two flaws. 1) the tea leaf infuser isn’t smooth so the leaves get caught when I’m trying to empty it and 2) the lid doesn’t fit the teapot without the infuser. So, once I’ve steeped the tea for 4 minutes, I have to empty the infuser and rinse it, then put it back into the teapot to put the lid on. If I keep the leaves in, the tea gets too bitter.
