Great value, many features, look at the details
A great little belt sander. There are a lot of these floating around, so what sets this apart? It comes with an adjustable power block, meaning the motor goes in both directions. Not all of them do. It comes with a lot of extra belts which are numbered. Others aren’t and don’t. It comes with lots of rotary sanders and a grinding wheel, which can be substituted. It has a wide range of speeds and is very quiet and solid/low-vibration.Some “bad” things: the power cord could be longer. But I’m glad it comes with one at all, since many I saw during my research do not.The edge is set at 15 degrees. I’d like 25 degrees too but to be able to move it and rely on it would put it in another price level. I watched a review of one of these where the guy had a similar one and removed the base plate(his allowed you to do that), and couldn’t figure out why it was screwed on so tightly. But it’ll never be at the same level/degree for long, like that. This isn’t a “knife sharpener” per se. At least it’s not what I’m relying on as my sole knife sharpener. It’s good for other chores, too.For the price, you get a lot here. Less than $50 is a great value.

Variable speed. Handy size for shows or small hobbyist
I am a metalsmith (custom and artisan jewelry) and have wanted to make my workspace a bit more efficient. I have heavy duty grinder, sanders, polishers, etc. but sometimes you just want a little tool to do a little job and not have to power up the “big boys”. This is also a good size to take to classes I am giving or to shows, so I don’t have to do everything manually. If you are a smith, you know just how much time you spend polishing, rubbing, and sanding by hand. This little tool will do the small jobs just fine. Comes with all the necessities, grinding wheel, polishing cloth, circular sanding disc with circular paper and the belt with multiple grits. Nice that there is variable speeds and forward and reverse. The only issue is the orange plastic cover that covers the post to put the grinding wheel on when you are not using it does not exactly line up with the cooling holes of the little motor. I just pulled it out further so that it could cool without being covered at all and it still covered the post so that it did not get tangled up with anything I was working on. I did take the video on my desk before I moved it to my workbench and you may be able to see, it bounces around a bit at the higher speeds. I put a rubber mouse pad under it on my workbench and it kept the movement down. I would most likely just clamp it, if it becomes an issue. Overall, a nice little tool that would be great for the casual user, jewelry artist, model hobbyist, crafter, or in my case, when I wanted to do a small job or take it somewhere I was teaching. Nice.

Well made and easy to use!
This multifunctional 4 in 1 polisher / sander is of good quality. Itâs super easy and straightforward to use even without instructions. It has a very small footprint and produces low noise levels unlike my full size polishing wheel.I ordered this with polishing silverware in mind. I wanted something casual to use that wasnât as loud as a bench grinder and something that had less force/power for I wanted more control over the polishing to prevent over polishing and this unit hasnât disappointed. I find it to be of excellent value in more was than and would recommend it.

Nice sized sander / grinder is exactly what I was looking for to sharpen knives, chisels and do light jobs on projects. Size is small and that is great as it doesn’t need to be bigger to work well. Simple to use and works great – Impressive quality for the affordable price tag.
