This Actually Works as Described
This sealer was actually brought to my attention by an article I read on kitchen gadgets. I checked it out on Amazon and after reading the product description I thought this cannot work as well as described in the article and on the Amazon Product Description but it was less than $10.00 so I thought I would give it a shot, knowing I could return it for a full refund. As soon it arrived, I read the instructions and went to my pantry where I had several open chip bags. I followed the instructions and it sealed the bags perfectly first time out. I had a little problem knowing when to move it across the bag, but I learned it was pretty much instantaneously. As soon as you press it in on the device start sliding it across the bag. The actual sliding is a little more challenging but doable. The one thing I hope they improve is the shield between the two sealer edges that must be down for storage. Hopefully they can design it to be automatic instead of manual. This shield prevents the two hot (??) sealer edges from coming in contact (and heating up) during storage.

Handy gadget
I’m surprised how handy this is. Instead of chip clips you just out some seals on it. The heat element is fast. Only takes about 15 seconds of holding the heat on the bag to seal it. This product arrived on time and is exactly as pictured. I got it a couple of months ago but waited to write a review until I had a chance to use for a bit. This is easy to use, works well, and is so convenient. I have used it on chip and snack bags as well as on thinner plastic such as what I have posted and it sealed them all. The seal line sometimes gets a little wonky but that’s due to user error, however even with a weird line the bag is still sealed. I have not used the razor blade yet because I haven’t needed to but I checked it and it’s definitely sharp. I also love that this product comes with its own batteries. You don’t see that often nowadays. Overall great product and highly recommend.

incredible for the price
A neat gadget that works better for resizing a plastic bag than a soldering iron, by a long shot, but it’s very hard to control the depth and one often melts thru the plastic, rendering the seam useless for holding in/out moisture and air. I wishe there were some sort of temperature liimiter that could detect the plastic melting. I have to say, though, it’s incredibly fast and easy to use. I used it to custom fit some plastic bags used to prevent tarnish on some antiques.

Compact and functional
This little gadget is one of those things that you may not have realized you could really use – until you get the chance.After giving it a shot with whatever I could find in my pantry, I can now confidently attest – it works. While it takes a bit of getting used to and refining your “technique”, after a few tries I was sealing every bag that didn’t come with its own ziplock closure. Very handy.The magnet backing allows me to keep it close by on the fridge (though, they may do well to consider strengthening it to avoid slippage), so no need to fumble in the drawer or forgetting you have it.

I find it ok. So far it takes awhile to try out the sealer but i keep on trying it again and again i got the hook of using it. but it does not really seal tightly cos when i try to open it, it easily came off. abit of a fragile in my opinion.
