Takes a Little Practice, But Works
This little gismo takes some practice to use it successfully and I was not sure I was going to like it but after a few uses I find it handy. At first, trying to seal off a bag was cumbersome for me trying to figure out how fast or slow to move across the opening I was wanting to seal. It creates a very thin line of a seal so I have to look closely to make sure it has sealed all the way across. Note: for bags, it is almost impossible to have a flat seal and it is necessary to go across the end corner diagonally to ensure the package is sealed properly (directions say to do this). This device also has a cutter too which I find mostly gets in my way and Iâd rather it had a way to come out only when I needed it by pushing a button.Somewhat cumbersome but its convenience is that I donât have to pull out my big sealer for a little bag of candy or sleeve of crackers. Four stars from me because I think the cutter should be hidden until needed and wider a seal would have made this a better product.

This bag sealer seems to work. OK, I have a very hard time using it though. When you turn on the switch, it heats up rather quickly, within 15 seconds. You simply close down and slide it across to seal the bag. Works pretty well, but it is difficult in my opinion to apply the correct pressure and slide at the correct speed to effectively close And seal up the bag. There is always the issue with whichever and you start you have to go back and cross seal to complete the seal job. That is because you can really never start at one end and go all the way to the other, you have to start a little bit in slide across and leave gap and go back and catch the gap and seal that too. This is just how all these portable sealers are, I think itâs not a bad idea, I think itâs in my opinion not real practical. I probably wonât get much use out of this, but for somebody who wants to spend the time to get good at it, it might be worth it.

My mother said to me, there is a sucker born every minute, and with this product I am that person. This unit doesnât hold a long charge, and only works for thin plastic, and Evan that the blade that cuts the plastic is always out, so while to seal, itâs cutting the plastic at the same time, looks neat, the idea seemed great, but unfortunately failed.

I’ve had trouble with it completely closing bags and have had to go over them twice or have ro cut the bag and start over but when it works it’s fine

This sealer did NOT work on our poly bags. If left long enough to create a seal, it melts them.
