Just right.
Perfect size for one/two people, 2 good size cups. Easy to clean. Lightweight but seems sturdy so far.

Great quality and value
I ‘ve bought many lower end units but this one was by far superior in every way, including price.

Buyer beware!
The carafe has broken twice! The first time, there was a crack and I thought it was my fault. So I bought another one because I was otherwise quite satisfied with it. Then, within two weeks of using it, the replacement cracked on the bottom. Very disappointing quality.

Works as a french press, cannot be cleaned like one..
I broke my bodum french press which is about the same size, so I bought this as a replacement considering it’s $10 cheaper. I found that you can’t separate the filter and stem to clean it without breaking the plastic endcap holding it on. So, I removed the stem and replaced it with bodums stem and filter, and it works like a charm. I guess to sum it up, if you broke your bodums glass, this will work as a much cheaper replacement. 🙂

Good size
I really like that us 27oz as we rarely make big pots if coffee, so less to waste. This does a good job in brewing, keeping it hot, and pouring. Like most, it is best to hold the lid tight when pouring to prevent any leaking out.The filtering if grounds did well after two uses so far. I hope it continues.

Pretty great
I’m not a coffee drinker by any means I’ve always wanted to be but never really got into it since its literally just bean juice. Any way I got a smaller version by mistake and then found this big one that fills two of my big mugs and I am glad because if its just me obviously I half it but if I have some one over its great to not have to make a second batch unless we really want more. I will say I’m not a fan that the bottom of the metal pressing part is plastic because I feel like it can easily break but it is a bang for your buck and very easy to use. I don’t know if it’s just me but between the plastic and metal the coffee grounds sometimes get stuck and you are left kinda trying to gently pry it apart to clean it and mine has this bubble in the glass on the bottom and I thought I did that but I’m pretty sure it was just how the glass was formed and just a fragile point to the glass. Oh also I’ve accidentally tapped it pretty hard in different spots in the sink and it hasn’t cracked so I guess as long as you don’t full force chuck it, it should be fine.

I’m using it “CREATIVELY”!!
I do use it to make coffee; but I also make 200 proof alcohol with my still. Once the alcohol is make, I “blend” a proprietary mix of dried fruits in the alcohol to add “flavor”. That kinda HAS to “steep” or “marinate” for “a while” – after which time I pour the CLEAR “liquor” off the “top” – and use the VERY ALCOHOLIC “bottom” (sediment” to make “jello shots”. I’ve NOT had any “complaints” on my “jello shots”; but by “straining” (pushing) the “sediment” (to the bottom); I can GREATLY SPEED UP the entire second part of my “operation”. People who have tasted of my home-made “liquor” tell me that what “””I””” have is “some WORLD CLASS stuff”. Having perfected my “process”, the next step is to start looking into buying a manufacturers license (by whatever name those permits are called) – then consulting with some marketing professionals. Bottom line here is that IT WORKS EXACTLY AS “”‘I””” THOT IT WOULD!!

Some of the images are not accurate so here’s the truth of it. I go through coffee pressers every 3 months or so because they always tip over in the sink and the glass inevitably cracks. This model will be no different but there is no denying for 17.99 the size of this design is much larger than any other coffee presses for this price. Usually they make a 3 cup espresso, this is twice the size at least so you make proper tea too. The size of the interior makes it easier to clean unlike narrower models. For less than $20 I’m happy.Side note, it does NOT come with a little measuring spoon, a nifty little book about the product and some coffee recipes. Perhaps that is why it isn’t more expensive?Enjoy

Buen material. La recomiendo mucho.
