I bought this to know the temperature of my steamed milk for morning latte. The dial is large and readable and the clip keeps it on the jug. Good price and it works well.

lifespan = 17 months
It was accurate enough but not scientifically precise for 17 months. Lost calibration and needle started having random positioning. previously it was consistently room temp when i picked it up then moved to near 40F when placed in the cold milk. Then, seemed to respond to steaming milk appropriately. tested it against an Oneida meat thermometer when i first received and was pretty close. So, i was happy with it, but very disappointed at the short lifespan.
