Nice 4-in-1 Multifunction Milk Frother
As I unboxed the unit I was pleasantly surprised – it seemed to be a quality piece of equipment. I couldn’t wait to try it out. I tested all 4 functions:1 – Dense, hot foam2 – Fluffy, hot foam3 – Hot milk4 – Cold foamAll of the heating functions worked great and I had temps around 155 to 160 which I thought was spot on. The two hot frothing options were as described. The Dense, hot foam was indeed dense, with almost no milk when poured. The Fluffy, hot foam was indeed fluffy and had a fair amount of milk when poured.The three “heated” options are controlled by the speed of the spring whisk. It really spins fast to create the dense foam, spins fairly fast for the fluffy foam, and the spins lazily for the no foam, hot milk. Very nice.Lastly, I did a cold foam and that turned out very nice as well. I included a picture of that so that you could see the consistency of the foam. That was using whole milk.The unit is marked with Max and Min levels – the Min is about 3 oz and the Max is about 5 oz. Those are the frothing max and mins.I found it easy to use – each push of the button will cycle you through the options starting with Dense, hot foam. It was intuitive for me – each push you are doing less: Dense, to fluffy, to no foam, and then the last has no heat, just foam. The light on the indicators is red for the heated options and blue for the cold foam.It cleaned up really well and I found that taking the spring whisk out and replacing it was quite easy. I’ve used a frother that had a magnetic arrangement and that was easier to use, but this one was not a problem.A very nice product that I would buy again. I think for the price it is a very good value.
