I bought this cup to replace my old faithful plastic cup which finally cracked after 20 years of use. I decided to get a stainless steel cup that I assumed would outlive me. I like the style of this cup, the fact that it feels substantial and well-made, and that it insulates well. However, it’s not truly a 12 ounce cup. After many years of using my old 12 ounce cup, I pretty much had my measurements for my coffee pot programmed into my eyeball/muscle memory. The first time I used this new cup, I couldn’t quite empty out the carafe into the cup. I used a measuring cup and found out I could only pour about 11 ounces of liquid into the cup and still be able to put the lid on. I’m going to keep it and use it, but be aware that if you truly need to pour 12 ounces into this cup, for example, a 12-ounce can of soda, it’s going to be a little short.

Nice looking cup but the lid doesn’t work correctly. Coffee leaks into the slider on lid and it is very difficult to wash it out. Through the lid, it leaked onto my gloves. The cup worked ok, but the lid made it a no-go
