Bought this to travel with. Made pour over at home this morning and it worked very well. And, was not sure I needed the little travel bag it came with, but I discovered that the little bad will hold 2 weeks worth of filters along with the filter holder…Winner!!!

Perfect for Travel
Oh how I miss pour over coffee when traveling â just never worth the space it takes to carry a ceramic or plastic cone. This cone is the answer … it collapses into flatness and even has its own little soft carrying case.The silicone is designed to sit flat on all sizes of mugs and features two well-spaced drip holes.The rate of flow is on par with my Melita ceramic cones, and a #4 filter is a good fit.(Smaller #2 filters would fit just fine as well.)But of course the proof is in the tasting â and this little cone provides exactly the same taste as my ceramic ones. Very impressive.Pro tip for ANY silicone product:Wash the item asap after use to reduce the possibility of lingering odor.If you have a SOLID silicone item (like say, an ice cube tray) that does develop an unsavory odor, simply google the concept of rehabilitating that item in a hot oven for a bit.

Durable but Flexible
I have tried this pour over coffee filter and it is durable. The silicone gets soft when hot water is inside, so just be aware. It makes good coffee but I learned to pour the water slowly because the water poured through too quickly and created a weaker than usual cup of coffee. I may also look into using 2 paper filters or purchasing a reusable cotton filter if slowing the pour does not achieve the results I am used to.I contacted the company because the cover bag is a bit too small and I can see the stress on the zipper after forcing the filter cone into the bag. The company said they are in the process of correcting this issue.

Fails in 3 fundamental and unsuspecting ways, but packs great!
We purchased this for camping to reduce storage space with our coffee making kit. This telescoping silicone pourover seemed like the perfect solution. Until you use it. Here are the 3 fails: 1.) You cannot see into your cup, so there is no way of telling when you are full. 2.) It creates a moderate vacuum seal over your cup as the water soaks in – which is annoying for lifting to check if you cup is full yet… you need two hands for that now. 3.) once the silicone is warmed up, it looses integrity. When we filled it up for the 2nd batch, it crumpled under the weight of the water, sank into the cup, and spilled the grounds and water all over the table and in the cup. Two words: “Beta Test”

Used this at all the festivals I went to this summer .it’s so easy to pack a few filters in the little pouch ,so you have ever you need to make coffee for a week

ComprÃ© este artÃculo para usarlo cuando me toca dar clase o bien debo de viajar. Solo colocas unos cuantos filtros de papel en su estuche (caben varios). Ventajas: llevas el cafÃ© de la marca de tu preferencia con el molido que te gusta en un recipiente hermÃ©tico, sÃ³lo debes conseguir el agua caliente, que en mi caso tambiÃ©n llevaba un hervidor portÃ¡til (del tamaÃ±o de un termo). Sirve para lo que lo necesito, pues me permite tomar el cafÃ© como lo prefiero y la verdad ahorras un poco.

Fonctionne bien si on verse l’eau tranquilement. Le filtre reste collÃ© Ã la paroi mais j’ai utilisÃ© les cones no 4. Peut-Ãªtre que cela aide Ã rester contre la paroi lorsqu’on verse l’eau chaude. Se lave bien.
