Our founder, Melitta Bentz, invented coffee filters and pour-over brewing in 1908. For over 100 years, Melitta has remained a pioneer in coffee, coffee filters and coffee brewers. Our paper filters are 100% biodegradable. We offer filters for cone, flat bottom basket, percolators and Keurig single serve coffee brewers. Our filters are produced using chlorine-free white, natural brown and bamboo paper. In addition to filters, we offer a wide range of coffees and brewers including pour- overs, carafes, pour-over kits, coffee makers, kettles, drip coffeemakers, and even our own premium, batch-roasted coffee. Our coffee beans are sourced from farms located in prime coffee-producing regions. We batch roast and grind our beans extra fine in true European fashion – bringing out the coffee’s full flavor. Enjoy our entire range of ground coffees, whole bean coffees, and single serve coffee pods.

Top Leaks
As it is too latie (after 30 days) i cannot return this item. I thought it was a great deal, but the top leaks. When you fill it up the first time for the day, everything is ok. After the 1st fill, coffe leaks out where the top screws on. I have not opened the 2nd one as I thought i would return, but too late so i do not know if that one leaks also. I loved the idea to be able to make one coffee at a time, but as the coffee leaks from top, you have to clean and dry top each time you want to refill. Had it worked, i would have rated highest as the mug is great size and love the cone.

A Simple Coffee Maker That Makes Great Coffee
My hubby and I own a Keurig coffee system and it’s been our primary source for making coffee. We recently received a bag of ground coffee as a gift. I just happened to be looking around here on Amazon and came across this Melitta Coffee Maker – Single Cup Pour Over. I have to say the price was right and thought I would give this a try.I also ordered additional #2 cone filters here on Amazon as I did not recall seeing this at our local stores. To my surprise this was a great purchase and this simple system produces wonderful coffee. I like that I’m able to use my own travel mug with this cone shaped drip basket. It doesn’t take long for the coffee to filter through and fill up a mug. I like that this is not a another appliance that sits on our counter nor takes up any room to store. Clean up is really simple.I highly recommend this simple coffee maker. It would make a great and inexpensive gift.

Nice cup – wish it kept coffee hot longer
Needs more insulation.

Cheaply made coffee containers
Amazon allows no returns on this item, even though it is a Prime delivery item…why?? Coffee mugs are very slick and seem likely to slick in ones hand…they seem insubstantial and feel cheap. The non-slip base does not protrude below the rim of the mug and as a result provides no benefit… Also, the plastic drip cone teeters a bit on top of mugs. No where, that I could find, is it noted that the item is ineligible for a return. BEWARE …as if orders and found unsatisfactory, one is nonetheless stuck.

Useful Product Makes Good Coffee
I don’t drink coffee, but when at our cabin in Canada I usually make it for my husband. There is no electricity there so an electric drip coffee machine won’t work. I used a thermal French press coffee maker for several years which was fine, but there is a lot of fooling around with putting it together and then taking it apart to wash it. This year, I made coffee in this. My husband said the coffee was perfectly fine. It is best to put some hot water in the mug for a few minutes to heat up the mug before making the coffee. I like how amazingly simple and easy to wash this is.Now, it is kind of top heavy and I worried about knocking it over while pouring in the very hot or boiling water. And, I thought it was difficult to pour the hot water in without spilling the water. And, if you don’t have good light it can be difficult to see how much water is in the cup. Overall, it is a surprisingly good and useful product.

Good product
Excellent travel mug and the coffee pour over works very well although you will need 4-6 tablespoons of coffee. Service was excellent

Good Price For A So-So Product.
Though the product is as described it’s nothing really to write home about. I’m not sure what I was expecting, but you get exactly what you see, the filter part of a coffee maker on top of a travel mug. Yes, it made coffee, but it honestly isn’t that convenient. You still have to deal with a coffee filter, loose grounds, and boil hot water. Also, for the amount of coffee that you need to use in order to have a strong enough cup you could have made an entire pot! Even if you were to travel with it, I think it would be less work to buy the new and improved instant coffee on the market. I sadly just wasn’t impressed.

Melitta coffee maker
The item works as advertised, but the insulated cups that came with it don’t insulate very well. also they’re made of very slick plastic that makes it easy for it to slip from your hand. I wrapped a few rubber bands around it for better grip. Since the funnel top is what makes the coffee and it fits on almost any cup, save yourself some money and just buy the funnel top for less than $5. It did brew a half-decent cup of coffee with just one pour through of hot water so I’m happy about that. The lousy insulated, slick cups that come with it is what lowered the rating – otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.
