these are great! as a previous reviewer wrote, you fold the coffee filter along the seams before tucking it into place. i’m about two-thirds through my package and no rips yet. my coffee tastes great, to the point where i actually have those sips where the world pauses and birds sing and i feel like a disney princess as the bean brew warms me from inside out.the #4s fit my moccamaster perfectly and i haven’t had any experience with the filter folding in, but maybe there is a difference in pour-over versus drip coffee.the only time i got grounds in my coffee was when i stupidly forgot the stopper was flipped up on my brew basket, which caused the basket to overflow. that was my mistake and not the filter’s.

Coffee drinkers take their coffee drinking very seriously. Flavor, aroma, body, viscosity, and all the hoity-toity words used to describe flavor for those with a refined palette. You know who really gives a rip about their coffee brewing? People who invest in an ideal filter situation. This is an ideal filter situation, bro. Regular paper? No thanks. Bamboo? Yes please. These guys are sturdy, porous, and do the filtering thing well. Theyâre in the filter business, and business is GOOD.
