The kit includes a scooper and filter to help you get the clumps out of the matcha nd the whisk gives the matcha powder creamyness. Everything is made exceptionally well. This set comes with everything you need to make matcha the authentic way!To start off, this set comes with a pretty nice mat, that can soak up any spilled matcha powder or liquid to keep your working area cleanThe chasen holder helps keep the whisk in its spread shape, as well as help it dry out and prevent molding. Even though the whisk can stand on its own upside down, you need to keep it on the holder while drying to prevent moldThe strainer is a game changer. Without running my matcha powder through, I often end up with small clumps of bitter matcha ball in my drink. It does take a couple of seconds, but worth the smooth matcha result!The cup is great, it has a bigger bowl bottom that makes whisking liquid easy and prevent spillage. The pouring nose also makes pouring it into a cup easy. It does get hot, so make sure you use some heat protection if you keep hot liquid in there too longOverall, this is great for making straight up matcha or matcha latte with your milk or milk substitute of choice
