Nice quality chawan, chasen, and stand.
This is a very nice matcha preparation set. The chawan and stand are very nice and the glazing is smooth and consistent. The color is one of a pale matcha latte and I really enjoy the color. They feel sturdy and of a good weight.The chashaku is your typical bamboo chashaku and is about the same size as others I have. It isn’t the highest quality one though and I’d like to see it have a bit smoother finish and the scoop be a little thinner with sharper edges, but it works. It scoops a similar amount as all the others I have.The chasen is well made and it blooms nicely without the tines going straight. The outer tines keep their j-hook shape making the job of whisking your matcha a joy. The drying stand is just the right size and shape for the chasen to be stored on, ensuring it keeps its shape and will last you a long time, maybe many years.The chawan is nice looking and of a good size so you don’t make a mess when whisking your matcha. However, if you are a purist, the addition of pouring spout may be a bit anathema to you. It may mess with the aesthetics if you are into the ceremony of matcha tea prep and drinking. It makes it nice for those who make their matcha into a latte or other drink.If you are looking for a good matcha prep set for your first time, you won’t go wrong picking this one. It is a good value for the price. If you end up really getting into the ceremony and ritual of matcha prep, you may want to invest in a new chasen without the pouring spout.

I really like this set!
After many uses, my old matcha whisk was finally ready for replacement. I saw this set and thought it was perfect! While I did have a matcha bowl, the depth of the bowl frequently made a mess of things and severly limited the amount of matcha I could prepare. I really like the depth and size of the bowl in this set. It is not too large and in my opinion is the perfect size to prevent splashing while using the matcha whisk. The matcha whisk and bamboo scooper itself is just about what I would expect and is similar to others I’ve had in the past. I really like that this kit has all of the basics as I don’t need the extras often included in kits like this.The ceramic color is more of a light teal than a sagey green which I was expecting. I think it is just the lighting of the photos that creates the effect of making it look more green than blue. Overall I do really like this kit and I look forward to using it with my morning matcha routine!

Great little set!
Iâve been learning how to do matcha at home to keep from running to âï¸ bucks for a little treat too often. This set has everything I needed! Whisk, stand, bowl, and a cute lil bamboo scoop. I already have a small sieve to break up clumps. This is cute enough that I donât mind to leave it out on the shelf 🙂 This would make a great gift, too! Just include a tin of your favorite matcha and youâll be someoneâs favorite caffeine fairy!

What an absolutely adorable matcha set.Came very, very well packaged and would make an ideal gift.It’s beautiful and will get many good usesI’ve taken a star off because as a gift set, there should be some brewing instructions for beginners, but there a none at all.Otherwise a perfect set.

great quality
i have had another matcha set in the past before but i instantly like this one a lot more. first of all, the bowl is ceramic. the other one i had was stone so it would cause friction with the whisk and made the whisk start deteriorating more quickly. i used this one this morning and surprisingly, blending the matcha was a lot easier, smoother and faster than what i was used to with my stone one. the color is cute too. i just wish it came with a sieve but honestly a sieve isnt necessary. i would definitely recommend this set for anyone who likes matcha

Nice matcha set
This is a nice matcha set. It comes with the bowl, holder, bamboo whisk and scoop. They all can fit in the bowl for easier storage as well. The whisk looks and feels like good quality and did a good job of whisking my matcha with appropriate foam. The one potential downside is that the bowl is glazed so the smooth surface along with larger size of the bowl can make it harder and less stable to hold and pour.

This set looks amazing! The color is so beautiful. It has everything you need to make matcha except for the matcha powder. Be aware that there is no strainer. You don’t really need one to make matcha though. The quality of the set is really high. Overall, I would definitely recommend this set.
